This year’s IR activity was curtailed somewhat by my assignment as Interim Dean for
NAS. The main impact was in reducing the number of new projects begun. In spite of
this, there was still a net increase in the number of major studies by two. New projects in
2011-12 were the four-year retention study, analysis of the Delaware Study of costs,
Admissions study of lead source analysis, Net Price Calculator project for Financial Aid,
Phonathon analysis for College Advancment, and the beginning of a High Impact
Practices study for the Provost.
Other areas of activity were relatively unchanged..
