Non-credit fast-track programs:

Automotive Technician

This certification is a survey course in basic automotive maintenance and will introduce you to auto technology, as well as automotive electrical and brake systems. Once completed, this course may be applied toward additional automotive courses that lead to an Associate of

Applied Science (AAS) degree.

Diesel Technician

Students will learn the basic principles of diesel engines and systems, as well as the repair, disassembly, identification, evaluation and reassembly of diesel engines. Upon completion of this program, you will be able to service diesel engines on many different vehicles, including bulldozers, cranes, farm tractors, combines or boats.

Professional Truck Driver

(CDL Licensure)

Students will learn the skills needed to earn a commercial driver’s license, including pre-trip inspection, basic control skills, backing, and city street/highway driving.

Becoming a professional truck driver could qualify you to work for retail distributors, production facilities and other general commerce transportation employers.

Certified Logistics Associate (CLA)

Learn the foundations of supply chain logistics and related core competencies, including safety, quality control, communications, teamwork, good workplace conduct and familiarity with the key computer systems that underpin supply chain operations.

Certified Logistics Technician (CLT)

Learn the mid-level technical knowledge of supply chain logistics and related core competencies, including product receiving, product storage, order processing, packaging and shipment, inventory control, safe handling of hazardous materials, evaluation of transportation modes, customs, and dispatch and tracking operations.
