Brine Shrimp/Artemia Lab

Brine Shrimp/Artemia Lab a) Must include a title, your name, and various other information well placed (centered) items that you would typically find at the top of a lab report. b) An Overview: A brief discussion of Artemia (what they are and where they live..kind of a summary like the one on your lab) and the purpose of the study we just conducted. This discussion should, obviously, make a connection to population/behavior studies just like your book does  c) Light data collected, in a proper data table with borders (centered, well proportioned, a good size, etc, etc), the information for the light experiment. This would include the counts from each of the four sections of the variable and the control tube. This would include your data and the class average data. This data should then be followed by column/(bar)graphs that clearly represent the data collected. (a line graph is ineffective for this). Remember to label each section based on screens quantity (not sections 1, 2, 3, and 4). (they would be the same for everyone) d) Temperature data collected: Use the same format as above but for the temperature variable. Here, make sure the temperature you recorded is included with each section (not hot cold but actual temperatures). This may differ from table to table. This should then be followed by graphs just like in item c e) pH data collected: See c and d but this time for the pH experiment.

Remember each section of data and graphs should be on the same page (data above or below graphs is fine but should be clear) f) Finally a summary, based on the data collected above, the conclusions of the study.

In other words, what did you find out about the behavior of brine shrimp?

Note that the lab should be as short as possible (no huge graphs), graphs should be with the data they represent, and the summaries and discussions should be concise and informational (because I fall asleep reading long things!).

In case you don’t know, neat and complete is what we are after!
