Class 5 Autumn Term (2) 2015 Curriculum Brochure
Dear Parents,
Topic
This half term our topic is ‘In the Movies,’ focussing specifically on ‘The Lion King’, following
on from our previous Africa topic.
Helping your child at home
Children benefit greatly from regular reading. Please listen to your child read as much as
possible or ask them questions about what they have been reading to themselves.
Spellings folders will be completed in school, based on mistakes in their written work. These
will also be available for the children to take home if you wish to practise with them too. In
addition, children will also be improving their mental maths skills in their maths folders.
Children have Education City and Purple Mash passwords. If you have any problems with
these, please let us know.
