classes will be held on July 30-July 31 and
two Fridays each month September –
December at Richland One Adult Education
Center to accommodate adult educators who
will be traveling from all areas of the state.
The GCDF training is sponsored by the
South Carolina Department of Education’s
Office of Adult Education. The training is
120 hour of both in class and out of class

which can be used as recertification hours
for teachers and adult education directors.
This course is a required course for

Instruction should result in a better

that will ensure student success.
Upon successful completion, participants

credit. Classes begin July 15 at 8:30 a.m. and
conclude on July 19 at 4 p.m. for the College
