VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University is a fully chartered public sector university recognized by Higher Education
Commission, Islamabad, Pakistan. It has very quickly developed its image as a quality education provider and set
new trends of facilitation. It has been playing a catalyst role in socioeconomic development of the country by
providing human resource in social and basic sciences. Applications are invited from the candidates on the
prescribed form for the following posts which should include attested Photocopies of all relevant documents and
Demand Draft / Pay Order of Rs. 1000/-(non-refundable) as processing fee in favour of the Director Finance,

Experience: Fifteen (15) years teaching / research experience
in a HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution

Research Publications: 15 research publications with at least
05 publications during last five years in HEC recognized
Journals.
Qualification: Ph.D in relevant field from HEC recognized
University / Institution.
Experience: Ten (10) years teaching / research experience in
a HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or
professional experience in the relevant field in a National or
International organization.
Research Publications: 10 Research Publications with at
least 04 publications during last five years in HEC recognized
Journals.
Qualification: Ph.D in relevant field from HEC recognized
University / Institution. No experience is required.
OR
Masters Degree (foreign) OR, M.Phil(Pakistan) OR
equivalent degrees awarded after 18 years of education as
determined by the HEC in the relevant field from a HEC
recognized University/Institution with (04) years teaching /
research experience in a recognized university or
postgraduation institution OR professional experience in the
relevant field in a National or International Organization.

Postgraduation, preferably First Class or equivalent qualifications from HEC
recognized University / Institution with Six (06) years administrative and conduct
of examinations experience in a post equivalent to BPS-17 and above in a University
/ Board /Government Department /Autonomous Organization / an Institution of
higher learning in related responsibility / Firm of repute.
Postgraduation preferably First Class or equivalent qualifications form HEC
recognized University / Institution with four (4) years administrative experience in
a post equivalent to BPS-16 & above in a University / Board / College / Government
Department / Autonomous Organization / Firm of repute / preference will be given
to candidates who has experience in Journalism.
M.A English / M.Sc. Statistics or B.E preferably in First Class, or equivalent
qualifications in any field of Engineering/Science from HEC recognized University with
06 years experience in the relevant filed in BPS-16 and above or equivalent in any
Government/ Semi Government organization/ autonomous body/ recognized University.
The candidate must have reasonably good knowledge of the use of computer and
communication skills.
INSTRUCTIONS / FURTHER INFORAMTION:

The candidates applying for the post of Professors and Associates Professors should submit three copies of
their biodata / CV along with required documents including details of Research Publications in triptreate
properly bound along with a brief CV.

Candidates serving in Government/Semi-Government and autonomous bodies should apply through proper
channel accompanied by NOC from the employer and will be responsible for getting themselves relieved
properly from their departments. An advance copy of the application(s) may be sent, so as to reach within
due date.

Maximum age limit is 45 years, relaxable in case of highly suitable candidates and Government, Semi
Government and Autonomous bodies employees in exceptional cases.

Candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate application form(s) along with separate
bank draft with necessary documents for each post. The envelope should be marked with the post applied
for.

Incomplete applications i.e. without educational, professional and experience certificates, processing fee
etc or applications received after the specified date shall not be entertained.

The University reserves the right of cancellation of advertised post(s) partly or as a whole.

Only short listed candidates shall be called for test/interview and no TA/DA will be admissible for
appearing at the interview/written test.
