Location: Rancho Dominguez, CA
Northwest Hardwoods, Inc. is a world class, integrated, global supplier of wood products to the
furniture, cabinet, RV and millwork industries. We are searching for a world-class Warehouse
Operations Leader to join our team in Southern California. This is a full time position that reports to the
Region Sales Leader.
Background: Experienced Warehouse Operations Leader sought for on-site warehouse management
and operations of our warehouse shipping facility in Compton, California. Focus on safety and reliable
methods of inventory management and the on-time, in full shipment of our wood products.
Key Functions:
Active management of high volume, local inventory to include, but not limited to:




Receiving and shipping wood products (Loading/unloading rail cars, containers, and flat bed
trucks with forklift)
Inventory management (including cycle counts)
Customer Service (Interface with customers, logistic partners and others as needed)
People Leadership (Management of small staff to execute our strategies safely and efficiently)
Requirements: Safety conscience attitude and work experience required. Must possess skills,
knowledge and experience in the field of inventory/warehouse management (3+ years experience
preferred). Forklift Safety Certification required. Hardwood Lumber / plywood knowledge preferred by
not required.
