deadline of 4th December 2015. If you intend to submit your
application after October then please complete an online form. You may
consider using the paper application as a guide to draft your answers
and wait to enter the information online in October 2015.

SELECTION PROCESS:
 First stage: Applications screened against above entry requirements
You will be informed in January 2016 if you have not met these.
 Second stage: Joint Selection Board constituting all 3 EU partner institutions
meet in January to review and approve student applications against The
consortium’s selection criteria and attention will be given to the first/second
degree, grades and English language attained by applicants. Due weight will
also be given to the stated rationale for undertaking this international programme,
level of qualification, ability to communicate clearly, the nature and relevance of
prior professional experience and the manner in which international co-operation
and understanding will be fostered after completion of the programme.
 Third stage: All decisions are sent to EU for approval between February and
May 2016. Outcome of this stage will be released to successful and
unsuccessful candidates in June 2016.
FINANCING THE PROGRAMME:
 The EU commission grants a small number of competitive scholarships to the
highest qualified students fulfilling all above criteria, selected by the consortium.
These scholarships cover tuition fees and contribute to accommodation, travel
and installation costs (depending on which category you fall under - detailed in
section 7).
 Self-financing the programme will require the payment of:
Tuition fees (either €16,000 or € 8,000 dependent on which category you fall into
- detailed in section 7);
Accommodation fees in each university and for the dissertation period
(Approximately €15,000 in total *);
Travel to each partner university (€1000*);
And general day to day living costs (€22,000*).
*These costings are aimed to be a guide and costs may differ for each student. Costs for your
travel and accommodation will be dependent on the quality you require and you are free to
arrange these on your own. You are not for example, obliged to stay at on-campus
accommodation arranged by the institutions. Other costs to be considered are travel from your
home country to Sweden to start the programme and any subsequent travel home at the end of
the programme as well as; Visa cost and; Induction costs.

WHAT YOU NEED TO INCLUDE IN YOUR APPLICATION:
Please note that incomplete applications (including missing supporting
documents) will not be accepted.
 Complete Application Form (all 10 sections)
 Complete Disability and Ethnicity Form.
 Photocopy evidence of your English language qualifications (originals will be
asked for if your application is successful)
 Copies of your degree transcripts, certificates and/or progress to date (these
must be supported by a certified translation if the original is not in English)
 A personal statement in support of your application (2 x A4 maximum) (section 9
of application form)
 2 reference letters
 A copy of your passport (Candidates with multiple nationalities will have to decide
at application stage which nationality they apply)
 A residence certificate to provide proof of address and show that you reside in
the country and place that you have noted as your address in your application
form (This is so that we can calculate your scholarship amount for travel
according to how far you live from the coordinating institution)
 A copy of your CV (European format)
