HR Manager
We are a fast-growing electrical contracting firm. We are seeking a candidate to both handle all aspects of Human
Resource as well as recruit new employees for our growing needs. This role will require working knowledge of
Federal and State Employment regulations and the ability to coordinate all Human Resources activities such as
recruiting, compensation, benefits, compliance employee development, and employee relations. You must be a
strong, decisive, results oriented leader, who can develop and manage relationships across the company.
Responsibilities:
 Oversee all Human Resource functions including recruiting, compensation, benefits and employee relations
 Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization’s human resource function and
performance to continually meet the strategic and operational goals of the organization
 Develop progressive and proactive compensation and benefits programs to provide motivation, incentives
and rewards for effective performance
 Act as a resource of information and support for managers and team members in any issue as it relates to









employee relations, benefits, and payroll
Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources function and
ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Consult legal counsel to ensure that policies
comply with federal and state law
Work with management team to fill vacancies and create job descriptions for new or existing positions
Develop and maintain relationships with employment agencies and other recruitment sources to assist with
specialized or executive level searches
Participate with senior management in developing strategy and goals at a company level, and developing
key performance indicators for the Human Resources department
Maintain employee personnel files
Prepare and maintain company salary structure, job documentation, employee development program and
job evaluation systems
Oversee the performance evaluation process and assist senior management with implementing pay
adjustments, merit increases, and annual reviews
Participate in the coordination and development of the new team member orientation
Provide guidance to managers on how to address and correct performance issues, and ensure that policy is
followed and proper documentation is collected in any disciplinary action

•Knowledge of and experience with benefits and medical leave required
•Experience with implementing or administering 401k plans
•Experience with writing and developing policies and procedures
•Experience with writing job descriptions, setting pay guidelines, and compensation packages for exempt and nonexempt level positions
•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other agencies and the public
•Strategic thinker, resourceful, and team oriented
•Excellent organizational skills and time management
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
•Ultipro software experience is desirable
•PHR and/or SPHR Certification desirable
