Billions of people are now instantly connected to one another online, which means that a reputation can fly around the world in the blink of an eye. Whether it’s a reputation for generosity or a poor reputation, it will move really quickly. Spreading a positive reputation might require giving away something that, traditionally, you would have treasured for yourself.
