secondary syphilis

§ Where it usually gets discovered, 2-6 months post

§ has spread all around body

· Rash on palms, feet, chest

· Headaches, dizzy, hearing problems

· Swollen lymph glands

tertiary syphilis

§ Dormant for 10-30 years -> dangerous

§ Can affect brain

· Dementia Alzheimer’s/dementia

§ Can affect heart

· Aneurysms

§ Can affect bone health
