Financial Services Cares Gala is entering its 10th year of celebrating the financial industry’s commitment to the fight
against cancer. Originated by visionary Gene O’Kelly – former CEO of KMPG, the event brings together powerhouse
financial institutions such as Blackrock, Merrill Lynch, Ernst & Young, for a night of networking and exciting live auctions.
Since 2011, the American Cancer Society has donated a portion of the proceeds from the Financial Services Cares Gala to
support the Hope & Heroes Children’s Cancer Fund at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City to assist its
cutting edge programs and research.
To date, Financial Services Cares Gala has raised over $9,300,000. These funds have been channeled into helping people
stay well, helping people get well, finding cures and fighting back.
