(minimum age 16)

driving between 11:01pm and 5:00 am
No cell phones, video games, etc.
Must be accompanied in the front seat by an adult
supervising driver who is at least 21 years of age
and who possesses a valid NJ driver license and has
a minimum of 3 years driving experience.
Passengers – supervising driver, any parent or
guardian, one additional passenger.
Everyone must wear seatbelt.
Examination Permit Restrictions

*An examination permit is different from a student learner permit because the
applicant does not have to be a student and an instructor is not necessary.*

decals, distributed through the MVC, on the
