The students will point out how they determined which text structures the passages were written in. Students will have to determine which text structure each informational text is. Teacher and students will review the last two informational texts. Students will complete the construction of their thinking maps with the information gathered from their last two informational texts. Teacher and students will glance over each text to observe the text features. Students will label the text features and number the paragraphs. A.R. Reading Students will construct thinking maps with the two non-fiction texts Teacher and students will take turns reading aloud. Teacher will assist the students in figuring out which text structure the author wrote each passage. Teacher will discuss cause and effect relationships and students will connect it as a text structure. Teacher will distribute materials after students find their partners with matching stickers. Using a set of sentences, students will formulate cause and effect relationships.
