Office Hours : by appointment in advance Bulletin Description : Emphasizes decision-making models and tools with applications to business situations involving manufacturing, production and service operations. Topics covered will be applied to actual business situations using Spreadsheet software. Course Objectives : Before the completion of this course each student should be able to 1. Be masterful in using the spreadsheet software (Excel) 2. Understand and apply the problem solving process 3. All nonattendances should be shared at least one day before class. Assignment : Two written Assignments will be given during semester. Task & Question : There are questions in all classes. Especially, all laboratory class will have class task. Term Project : All students will make a group comprised of three students. Using the problem solving process in Quantitative Management, one case study should be reported and presented as a term project Examination : Examination policies, in terms of one summary paper allowed, will be announced prior to exam. If an emergency arises or a conflict occurs which prevents you from taking an examination at the scheduled time, you are expected to notify the instructor in advance. If the explanation is judged to be legitimate, a make-up examination will be administered at the discretion of the instructor.
