A degree in Agro Business and Landscape Management target those who want a wide range of
qualifications within agricultural areas. Following a two-year degree you will have a; professional
foundation, a self picked specialised direction and an education with a theoretical knowledge and
understanding of the practical.
The degree provides you with knowledge regarding elements that influence the environment and
nature. Depending on the direction you choose to specialize in, you will learn how to administrate, run
and establish landscaped areas as well as urban environments or learn how to consult within the
plant- and animal production. If you want to qualify for a job within management, you will also qualified
in management, communication, working environment, global conditions, planning and production
management.
Job functions
You will be able to accommodate different job types with a degree in Agro Business and Landscape
Management. You will find jobs in the areas of research, sale and counselling in the agricultural sector
both in publicly and privately auspices within the environmental management. This also includes parkand nature management, as well, as landscaping businesses that mainly establish and run urban
environments and green areas.
You may become an educator with our degree or maybe start your own business. The job in itself will
often be a combination of a practical and administrative task and it would be an advantaged if you
have flair for cooperation, communication and IT.
Program structure
The degree takes two years including three months internship, which consists of mandatory and
optional elements.
You need to choose between one of the following directions: Landscape and Gardening, Environment
and Nature, Animal Production or Plant Production.
The degree allows further education and training i.e. Bachelor Programme in Agricultural and
Environmental Management, which takes a year and a half.
