ELA GOAL
What are the
goals for
Languae Arts?
I want your children to become
avid readers and writers. This
requires daily commitment from
both the teacher and parent(s).
Like the well known proverb
states: “It takes a village to raise a
child.” I look forward to your
assistance with helping me to help
your child reach his or her fullest
potential.

ABSENT/MISSED WORK
POLICY
What is the
policy for
makeup work?
As soon as the student enters the
classroom, he/she should go directly
to the “Missed Work” board. They
should read the chart, and take any
materials that are in the days folder
that they missed. This makes it easy
for them to see what they missed. It
is up to the student to ask any
questions if something is not clear
to them.
