TIPS FOR SUCCESSFULLY STUDYING FOR AN EXAM
1. Budget your time wisely! – Do not start studying the night before!
Now that you have this exam review, go through your binders or notes and
make sure you aren’t missing any notes that you need to study.
2. Rewrite your notes to help with memorization! – Test yourself on a
separate paper by writing down answers to the topics listed in this review.
This helps refresh your memory because you’re thinking about what you are
writing.
3. Take study breaks! – Make sure you aren’t studying when you are really
tired. Get enough sleep and eat properly so you are ready to give 110%
4. Don’t cram! – It is proven to be ineffective if you start studying the night
before because you are taking in too much information, which can become
confusing and you will hardly remember anything at all.
5. Plan Ahead! – Begin studying topics you remember and that are easy for
you first. This allows you to spend more quality time on difficult lessons and
