PATTERNS OF TREASON:
A CASE FOR THE IMPEACHMENT AND TRIAL OF BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA
FOR TREASONOUS ACTS COMMITTED AGAINST
THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND HER PEOPLE
The Constitution, Article III, Section 3. “Treason against the United States, shall
consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving
them Aid and Comfort.”
Terms defined:
Adhere: to be a devoted follower or supporter
Aid: to furnish with assistance, support, or relief
Comfort (from synonyms): to make [circumstances] more bearable, to provide
encouragement
Two Enemies identified:
The Muslim Brotherhood.
 The Muslim Brotherhood’s creed1 is the same as that of Hamas2: “Allah is our
objective. The prophet is our leader. Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way.
Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”3 Their logo is a green disk with
two crossed swords and the command, in Arabic script, “Get Ready.”4
According to Dr. Michael Youssef, who has studied Islamic movements, the
statement means “the Brothers are to always be ready for jihad.”5

Their grand mission is “Civilization Jihad” through “settlement” with the
ultimate goal of establishing a global Islamic State [Caliphate]. America and
Canada have been made primary targets of Civilization Jihad.6 “The Ikhawan
[Muslim Brotherhood] must understand that their work in America is a kind
of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within
and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the
believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all
other religions.”7

One of the Muslim Brotherhood’s main “settlement” techniques involves
using Islamic Centers, “run by Brotherhood acolytes” and “built largely with
funds supplied by wealthy donors in the Persian Gulf region, particularly
from Saudi Arabia and Qatar.”8 In the Explanatory Memorandum it states
under point 17 (Understanding the role and the nature of the work of “The
Islamic Center” in every city with what achieves the goal of the process of
settlement): “The center we seek is the one which constitutes the “axis” of
our Movement, the “perimeter” of the circle of our work, our “balance
center,” the “base” for our rise and our “Dar al-Arqam” to educate us, prepare
us and supply our battalions in addition to being the “niche” of our
prayers…As much as we own and direct these centers at the continent level

we can say we are marching successfully towards the settlement of Dawa’
[proselytization] in this country.”9

Within the United States, the Muslim Brotherhood utilizes various front
groups to carry out aspects of “Civilization Jihad” under the guise of
“promoting desirable goals such as world peace, civil rights, tolerance,
understanding, ecumenism and education.”10 These include the Council on
American Islamic Relations (CAIR), Islamic Society of North America (ISNA),
Islamic Teaching Center (ITC), Muslim Students’ Association (MSA), Muslim
Public Affairs Council (MPAC), and the International Institute for Islamic
Thought (IIIT).11 CAIR and ISNA area un-indicted co-conspirators in the Holy
Land Foundation Trial. The Texas-based Islamic charity was charged with
conspiracy to provide aid to Hamas and the families of suicide bombers. 12

According to the current president of Egypt, Abdel Fattah el-Sissi, Al Qaeda,
ISIS, Hamas, the Taliban, Boko Haram and others were spawned and are
supported by the Muslim Brotherhood.13 These terrorist arms of the Muslim
Brotherhood carry out its agenda of jihad and the establishment of a global
caliphate beginning in the Middle East.
Iran.

The spiritual and secular leadership of Iran view America as the “great
oppressor” (the Great Satan) and Israel as “occupying regime” (the Little
Satan).1415 Iran’s “Supreme leader” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has said, “The
Zionist regime is a true cancer tumor on this region that should be cut off.
And it definitely will be cut off.”16 He has extended that fight to America:
“This battle will only end when the society can get rid of the oppressors’
front with America at the head of it, which has expanded its claws on human
mind, body and thought.”17

Former Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in 2005 at an Islamic
Student Associations conference held in Tehran: “Many who are
disappointed in the struggle between the Islamic world and the infidels have
tried to spread the blame. They say it is not possible to have a world without
the United States and Zionism. But you know that this is a possible goal and
slogan.”18 Ahmadinejad has also told friends that he believes the way to
hasten the arrival of the Islamic messiah (the Mahdi) is to unleash an
apocalyptic war against the Christians and Jews. Thus, he has vowed to
annihilate the U.S. and Israel.19

The Iranian leadership is willing to use nuclear weapons to that end. Former
Iranian president Ali Akbar Hashemi-Rafsanjani said in December 2001, “If a
day comes when the world of Islam is duly equipped with the arms Israel has
in possession, the strategy of colonialism would face a stalemate because
application of an atomic bomb would not leave anything in Israel but the

same thing would just produce damages in the Muslim world.”20 In January
2015, the commander of Iran’s infamous Basij forces, Gen. Mohammad
Naghdi, said ”Our ideal is not [nuclear] centrifuges but the destruction of the
White House and the annihilation of Zionism [Israel].”21

The Iranian leadership views the current nuclear talks as another form of
jihad, which they have used to their tremendous advantage. Iranian
President Hassan Rouhani described the talks as ““an active “jihad that is just
as significant to Tehran’s advancement as the slew of new weapons and
missiles showcased by the Islamic Republic’s military.”22

In a more explicit remark on March 18, 2015, Ayatollah Khamenei said: “We
will fly the Islamic flag of jihad over the White House.”23 Khamenei gave a
speech on March 21, 2015 in Tehran during which the crowds chanted
“Death to America!” He responded: “Of course yes, death to America, because
America is the original source of this pressure [the pressure of economic
sanctions related to nuclear talks].”24
Pattern: Adhering and Extending Comfort to the Enemy

Obama’s father and stepfather were both Muslims and Obama attended an
Islamic madrassah [a religious school] as a boy in Indonesia. He had close
friendships with Pakistani Muslims, including his roommate, during his years
at Occidental College. 25 Obama’s sympathy for Muslims is reflected in his
vow to “stand with them [Arab and Pakistani Muslim Americans] should the
political winds shift in an ugly direction.”26

Obama “invited Ingrid Mattson, a Canadian-born Muslim with ties to the
Muslim Brotherhood, to offer prayer at his inaugural prayer service.”27

He bowed to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia during the April 2009 G-20
summit in London. According to Erick Stakelbeck, “The Bow” conveyed that
“debasing America and exalting Islam would be key elements in achieving his
oft-stated goal of improving America’s image in the Muslim world.”28 It also
“represented a green light [to the Islamists] to further expand their tentacles
into the United States….”29

Obama skipped the National Day of Prayer in 2009, but “recorded a special
message to Muslims at the start of Ramadan [Aug. 21, 2009].”30 He also
issued a Hajj message to all Muslims on Thanksgiving Eve, 2009.31

Obama has celebrated Ramadan and other Muslim holidays at the White
House.32 Although he participates in the annual Christmas tree lighting in
Washington D.C., Obama avoids any other formal celebration of Christmas in
his role as president by taking his annual Hawaiian vacation at that time.33

The Obama administration, allied with Qatar and Tariq Ramadan, grandson
of Hassan al-Banna who founded the Muslim Brotherhood, has used the new
Common Core standards as a means to indoctrinate public school children
about the beliefs and practices of Islam such as: “Islamic vocabulary lessons
in high school; the teaching of Islamic culture; [and] the five pillars of
Islam….”34

In an interview with Al-Jazeera in July 2010, NASA chief Charles Bolden said
that Obama assigned NASA a new primary mission: "…perhaps foremost, he
wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much
more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their
historic contribution to science, math and engineering.”35

During his Cairo address of June 2009, Obama again championed Islam: “The
partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not
what it isn’t. And I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the
United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they
appear.” Obama had members of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood sit in the
front row for this speech.36

Obama and his administration, in keeping with that promise, have often
refused to call terrorist acts terrorism, much less Islamic terrorism. For
example, the 2009 murder of 13 fellow Fort Hood soldiers by U.S. Army
psychiatrist Major Nidal Hasan was characterized as workplace violence37
even though, according to survivor Kathy Platoni, he shouted "Allahu Akbar!”
before he commenced shooting.38 In the months leading up to the shooting,
Hasan had exchanged up to 20 emails with Anwar al-Awlaki, who was once a
spiritual leader at a mosque in suburban Virginia where Major Hasan
worshiped. The radical cleric currently resides in Yemen and is known for his
incendiary anti-American teachings.39

The White House only issued a “no comment” response to the beheading of
Colleen Hufford [September, 2014] in Moore, Oklahoma by recent convert to
Islam Alton Nolen.40 Nolen had made “radical Islamic comments” on his
Facebook page. “According to the Washington Post, two FBI officials said that
the incident is being treated as an act of “workplace violence,” despite
Nolen’s ties to radical Islam.”41 In the wake of the beheading, Obama sent a
personal representative to a mosque Nolen attended - the Islamic Society of
Greater Oklahoma - to read a message from the president, in which he
extended his greetings: “Your service [helping rebuild Moore after a 2013
tornado] is a powerful example of the powerful roots of the Abrahamic faiths
and how our communities can come together with shared peace with dignity
and a sense of justice.”42

Obama said the attackers of four Jews at a Kosher store in Paris in January
2015, were “violent, vicious zealots who behead people or randomly shoot a
bunch of folks in a deli in Paris.” He would not refer to the ‘zealots’ Islamic
religion, nor did he call the acts terrorism.43

The February 2015 ‘summit’ held at the White House in the wake of various
acts of terrorism by ISIS was called “Countering Violent Extremism.”44

In rejecting the use of labels such as “Islamic terrorism” and “Islamic
extremist” Obama is following the strategy of Rashad Hussain. Referred to by
Obama as “a hafiz of the Qur’an,”45 Hussain is a close advisor to the Obama
administration and has co-authored a paper called “Reformulating the Battle
of Ideas: Understanding the Role of Islam in Counterterrorism Policy.” One of
the points made by Hussain in the paper is “policymakers should reject the
use of language that provides a religious legitimization of terrorism such as
“Islamic terrorism” and “Islamic extremist.” They should replace such
terminology with more specific and descriptive terms such as “Al-Qaeda
terrorism.””46 Obama has taken Hussain’s suggestion a step further by
removing the word terrorism altogether.

At the first Ramadan dinner hosted at the White House Obama said, “Islam,
as we know, is part of America.”47 He has also declared that "Islam has been
woven into the fabric of our country [America] since its founding."48

Obama has frequently referred to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) as
the Islamic State of the Levant (ISIL), which is a term covering the territory of
Israel and Jordan as well. It can be taken as a subtle statement of support for
ISIS in their pursuit of claiming Israel and Jordan for their caliphate.49

Obama softened any criticism of ISIS after they burned a Jordanian pilot alive
in early February 2015 by equating their conduct with the conduct of
Christians during the Crusades: “Lest we get on our high horse and think this
is unique to some other place remember that during the Crusades and the
Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ. In our
own home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the
name of Christ.”50

One consequence of Obama’s remark was that the February 2015 issue of
Dabiq, the Islamic State English-language magazine, “reframe[d] the war
between the Islamic State and civilization as a revisiting of the Crusades.”
The President’s Crusade comment can therefore be characterized as “very
close to reciting enemy propaganda.”51

Although Obama issued a statement condemning the beheadings of 21 Coptic
Christians by ISIS (February 2015), he did not refer to them as Christians but
as Egyptian citizens.52 His administration also refused to back Egypt’s
bombing of ISIS in Libya following the beheadings.53 On April 2, 2015, 147
Christians were specifically targeted and killed by Al Shabaab militants at
Garissa University College in Kenya. Once again, Obama did not mention that
the “innocent men and women [who] were brazenly and brutally massacred”
were Christians nor did he mention that Al Shabaab is an Islamist extremist
group affiliated with al Qaeda.54

Obama’s plan to counter ISIS propaganda is the Center for Strategic
Counterterrorism Communication (within the State Department), which is
now being headed by Rashad Hussain. Hussain has ties to the American
Muslim Council (AMC), the International Institute for Islamic Thought (IIIT),
and the Muslim Student’s Association (MSA).55 All of these are Muslim
Brotherhood front groups.5657 In February 2015, this center re-tweeted AlAzhar Grand Imam Ahmed al-Tayeb’s tweet that "blamed unrest in the
[Middle East] region on a conspiracy by what he called 'new global
colonialism allied to world Zionism'…" Himelfarb, author of the Newsmax
article, states: “It is just the latest recent case in which State Department
counterterror organs have come under fire for linking to and appearing to
endorse questionable Islamic clerics.”58

Obama has hinted to Islamists that he believes we are ripe for transition to a
Muslim state: “Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation.
At least not just.”59 “One of the points I would like to make is, is that if you
actually took the number of Muslim Americans, we’d be one of the largest
Muslim countries in the world.”60

Obama and his administration have worked with the Organization of Islamic
Cooperation (OIC) to implement UN resolution 16/18, which would establish
guidelines criminalizing “hate speech” about Islam worldwide. 61 On July 15,
2011, Hillary Clinton met with OIC members in Istanbul to find a way to
‘thread the needle’ between the recently passed resolution and America’s
First Amendment right of free speech.62 Clinton told OIC that the U.S. would
address “Islamophobia” through “old fashioned techniques of peer pressure
and shaming.”63 OIC’s overarching aim is to Islamize societies through the
gradual implementation of Sharia standards.64

Obama used the brutal murder of four Americans in Benghazi on September
11, 2012 as an occasion to promote the outlawing of “hate speech”. He
blamed the event on the reaction to the U-tube video “The Innocence of
Muslims” and said in his speech to the UN General Assembly on September
25, 2011 “That is what we saw play out in the last two weeks, as a crude and
disgusting video sparked outrage throughout the Muslim world…The future

must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.”65 Although
Obama also said that the future must not belong to those who target Coptic
Christians in Egypt, his statements and actions have exclusively supported
his declaration about the slander of Mohammad.

For example, twelve employees of the French satirical paper Charlie Hebdo
were killed (in January 2015) by Islamists who took offense at the paper’s
cartoons of Mohammed. Obama stayed home while the leaders of many
nations came together in a show of solidarity against terrorism.66 His
absence signaled to Islamists that he felt such actions were justified given the
slander of Mohammed.

In February 2015, at the National Prayer Breakfast, Obama inferred that we
need to verbally pressure anyone who would insult Mohammed: “…And if, in
fact, we defend the legal right of a person to insult another’s religion, we’re
equally obligated to use our free speech to condemn such insults and stand
shoulder-to-shoulder with religious communities, particularly religious
minorities who are the targets of such attacks. Just because you have the
right to say something doesn’t mean the rest of us shouldn’t question those
who would insult others in the name of free speech.”67
Pattern: Providing Aid to the Muslim Brotherhood in America

In his policy paper “Reformulating the Battle of Ideas,” Rashad Hussain lays
out eight main points, three of which have particularly influenced the Obama
administration’s policies and actions:



“Fifth, the United States should incorporate the Muslim community as
well as scholars of Islam and of the Muslim world in the policymaking
process to help craft policies that reflect a more nuanced
understanding of those targeted.”
“Seventh, recognizing the benefit of strengthening the authoritative
voices of mainstream Islam, the United States should welcome and
encourage the further development of mainstream Muslim
organizations and moderate institutions.” [e.g. CAIR, ISNA, and other
Muslim Brotherhood front organizations]
“Finally [point 8], the United States should continue to promote
effective economic and social reforms and to work with allies in
crafting fair and peaceful resolutions to conflicts in the Middle East
and in other parts of the Muslim world, as these conflicts are often the
preeminent grievances fueling extremist violence.”68

“Between 2010 and 2013, the Obama administration imported almost
300,000 new immigrants from Muslim nations – more immigrants than the
U.S. let in from Central America and Mexico combined over that period.”69
The background checks are minimal so any number of these 300,000
immigrants could be terrorists. The FBI recently admitted that ISIS is active
in all 50 states.70

Border Agent Chris Cabrera said in an interview that the border is at best 3540 percent secure. The Department of Homeland Security has manipulated
the statistics to make it seem like it is 75 percent secure.71 Compounding the
problem of a leaky border is a low deportation rate of illegals caught in the
interior of the country. “The removal rate in 2014 for illegal aliens who were
not explicit ICE [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] priorities was onehalf of one percent.”72 The wave of illegal immigration in 2014, which Border
Patrol agents believe was engineered by Obama and his administration, kept
the border patrol occupied while untold numbers of terrorists, gang
members and drug cartel members flooded into America.73

The Obama administration, through Attorney General Eric Holder and the
Department of Justice, has promoted the building of Islamic Centers. As
mentioned earlier, these are used by the Muslim Brotherhood to conduct
“Civilization Jihad.”74 Whenever local communities have denied permits for
the building of Mosques and Centers, the DOJ has intervened and applied
pressure by filing religious discrimination lawsuits against the communities.
More than 28 such lawsuits have been filed.75

Obama has refused to release 80 boxes of information from the Holy Land
Foundation Trial to journalists or members of the intelligence community. As
mentioned earlier, Muslim Brotherhood front groups CAIR and ISNA were
among the un-indicted co-conspirators.76

There are at least seven individuals with suspected ties to the Muslim
Brotherhood who have been appointed to positions within the Obama
administration and who have helped shape domestic and foreign policy:
Rashad Hussain, Director for the Center for Strategic Counterterrorism
Communication; Arif Alikhan, Assistant Secretary for Homeland Security for
Policy Development; Eboo Patel, Member of the President’s Advisory Council
to the Office of Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships; Huma Abedin,
Personal Aide/Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton; Mohamed
Magid, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Countering Violence and
Extremism Working Group; Mohammed Elibiary, Senior Member of DHS’s
Advisory Council; and Salam Al-Marayati, administration representative to
UNESCO and United Nations.7778

Mouasz Moustafa, another individual with suspected Muslim Brotherhood
ties, is the executive director of the Syrian Emergency Task Force (SETF), and
has worked closely with the Obama administration. “SETF has partnered
with the State Department to implement training projects in Syria. Last
December [2013], the SETF’s executive director endorsed working with a
coalition of Syrian opposition groups called the Islamic Front, even though
several entities involved, including Ahrar Al-Sham, had fought with ISIS and
the radical Jabhat al-Nusra, or al-Nusra Front. Four Islamic Front affiliates
also endorsed a declaration calling for “the rule of sharia and making it the
sole source of legislation” in a post-Assad Syria.”79

Obama’s appointee for FBI director, Robert Mueller, purged hundreds of
counterterrorism documents of “Anti-Muslim” language such as “Islamic
terrorism,” “radical Islamist,” and “jihadist” after meeting with
representatives from ISNA and MPAC. Mueller also purged the documents of
the methods and motivations of Islamic terrorists and he removed the
trainers who taught these courses before the purge.80

One likely result of this purge was the FBI’s mishandling of the warning given
in 2011 by Russia about Tamerlan Tsarvaev, one of the Boston Marathon
Bombers (April 15, 2013). They were warned that Tsarvaev was a radical
Islamist and had been caught on tape speaking about jihad with his mother.
Yet, the FBI agents who interviewed him found no cause for suspicion.8182

Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, a Saudi National, was originally designated as a
person of interest in the Boston Marathon Bombing. He had been set to be
deported under section 212 3B — “Security and related grounds” —
“Terrorist activities” after the bombing. On Wednesday, April 17, 2013
“President Obama had a “chance” encounter with Saudi Foreign Minister
Saud and Saudi Ambassador Adel al-Jubeir” and at 5:35 p.m. Alharbi’s file
was altered “to disassociate him from the initial charges.”83

Besides Mueller and Holder, other administration members who were
appointed by Obama and have shown sympathy toward the Muslim
Brotherhood or radical Islamists include Hillary Clinton (former Secretary of
State), Janet Napolitano (former head of the Department of Homeland
Security), John O. Brennan (CIA director), James Clapper (Director of
National Intelligence), Anne Peterson (Assistant Secretary of State for Near
Eastern Affairs), and Thomas Perez (Former Assistant Attorney General,
current Secretary of Labor).

It was under Janet Napolitano’s watch that the Department of Homeland
Security (DHS) added the three Muslim Brotherhood affiliates to various DHS
advisory positions and granted them top-secret clearance.84 Also during this
time, the DHS was investigated by Congress for having a secret “hands off”

list which allowed easy entrance into the United States for individuals with
known terrorist ties. According to the Washington Free Beacon, the
documents are part of “a larger campaign by DHS and its former head Janet
Napolitano to purge the internal security records of potentially hundreds of
terror suspects, allowing them to more easily travel in and out of the United
States.”85

CIA director John Brennan, a possible convert to Islam,86 has remarked that
ISIS is psychotic, not Islamic. Echoing the strategies and words of Rashad
Hussain, Brennan said, “By ascribing it as a Muslim terrorism or Islamic
extremism — I think it does really give them the type of Islamic legitimacy
that they are so desperately seeking, but which they don’t deserve at all…”87

During a Congressional hearing about the Muslim Brotherhood, James
Clapper described them as “a “largely secular” organization that has
“pursued social ends” and a “betterment of the political order.” He claimed
that the Muslim Brotherhood has “no overarching agenda, particularly in
pursuit of violence, at least internationally.”88

Anne Peterson met with the Muslim Brotherhood and was accused of
supporting them during her tenure as ambassador to Egypt.89

On September 8, 2011, Thomas Perez sent a letter to various members or
associates of the Muslim Brotherhood “touting all the DOJ's actions on behalf
of Muslims, including a suit against the city of Lilburn, Georgia for resisting
the expansion of a mosque and amicus participation calling for dismissal of a
suit brought by Murfreesboro, Tennessee patriots against an Islamic
supremacist mosque there.”90

The Department of Homeland Security, now under Jeh Johnson, recently
[February 2015] received praise from CAIR for placing “right-wing sovereign
citizen extremist groups,” rather than Islamic terrorists, at the top of their list
of domestic threats of “violent extremism.”91

The State Department under Hillary Clinton and John Kerry has refused to
classify Jamaat Al Fuqra, Muslim Brotherhood front organizations (e.g., CAIR,
ISNA), and other organizations as terrorist groups because of their inactivity
in overt terrorist acts.92

Under Lois Lerner, the IRS has targeted “hundreds of conservative groups,
Constitutional groups, groups [and individuals] that criticized Obama, and 5
pro-Israel groups”93, while granting tax-exempt status to terrorist front
groups such as ISNA, the Muslim Community Association (MCA), and The
Fiqh Council of North America (FCNA).94

Secretary of State John Kerry has stated that global warming is a greater
threat than terrorists95 and has demonstrated his willingness to negotiate
with known terrorist groups such as Hamas.

Just after the National Prayer Breakfast [February 5, 2015], Obama met
behind closed doors with various Muslims including the current and former
heads of the Islamic Society of North America. During that meeting, “the
president reiterated his administration’s commitment to safeguarding civil
rights through hate crimes prosecutions.” The ISNA leaders requested,
among other things, that Obama nominate a Muslim as a federal judge. 96

In the February 2015 summit on “Countering Violent Extremism,” hosted by
Obama at the White House, at least two individuals associated with the
Muslim Brotherhood were in attendance: Nabeel Khudairi (leader of the
Islamic Council of New England) and Nichole Mossalam (executive director of
the Islamic Society of Boston’s Cambridge Mosque, the same mosque
attended by the Tsarvaev brothers).97 The conference is part of the strategy
derived from the White House’s “Strategic Implementation Plan for
Empowering Local Partners to Prevent Violent Extremism in the United
States.” [Issued December 2011] The Obama administration seeks to
empower the very groups that are responsible for “Civilization Jihad” and
terrorism such as the Council on American-Islam Relations and the Islamic
Society of Boston.98
Pattern: Providing Aid to the Muslim Brotherhood in the Middle East
The Arab Spring.

Since its inception, one primary goal for the Muslim Brotherhood has been to
“liberate Egypt from British rule and to erase all non-Islamic influence” by
returning to Sharia law, based on the Koran. Sharia law mandates that the
form of government be an Islamic caliphate.99

Beyond Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood desires to bring all Middle Eastern
nations under Sharia law, to restore the historical Caliphate. Their ultimate
goal, as declared up until 2001 by the Muslim Brotherhood London-based
publication Risalat Al-Ikhwan, is world domination.100 In 2004, the former
Supreme Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood, Muhammad Mahdi Othman Akef,
declared, “I have complete faith that Islam will invade Europe and America,
because Islam has logic and a mission.”101

Obama personally issued Presidential Study Directive 11 (PSD-11) in 2010,
ordering an assessment of the Muslim Brotherhood. The study concluded
that “the U.S. should shift its longstanding policy of supporting “stability” in
the Middle East and North Africa (that is, support for “stable regimes”, even if

they were authoritarian) to a policy of backing “moderate” [e.g., the Muslim
Brotherhood] Islamic political movements….”102

“U.S. State Department documents obtained under the FOIA [Freedom of
Information Act] confirm the Obama administration maintained frequent
contact and ties with the Libyan Muslim Brotherhood. At one point, in April
2012, US official arranged for the public relations director of the Libyan
Muslim Brotherhood, Mohammad Gaair to come to Washington to speak at a
conference on “Islamists in Power” hosted by the Carnegie Endowment for
International Peace.”103

Obama authorized covert operations to support the Libyan rebels in their
move to oust Libyan president Muammar Gaddafi.104 According to Clare
Lopez, a former twenty-year CIA officer, ‘The United States switched sides in
the war on terror with what we did in Libya, knowingly facilitating the
provision of weapons to known al-Qaeda militias and figures…”105

“Specifically, the Benghazi “embassy” became the CIA headquarters for
transferring – after Gaddafi fell – weapons in Libya to the Syrian Al Qaeda
rebels, as confirmed by Pulitzer Prize winning reporter Sy Hersh.”106

Prior to the overthrow of Gaddafi, the “Muslim Brotherhood was banned
from Libya for over three decades and its members were fiercely pursued by
the Gaddafi regime.”107 Afterward, the Muslim Brotherhood organized for an
active role in politics through the Justice and Construction Party under the
leadership of Gaddafi Mohammad Sawan. Sawan met with Deputy Secretary
of State William Burns and ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens along
with ambassadors of the United Kingdom, France and Italy. After the
meeting, a State Department cable reflected the U.S. support for the Muslim
Brotherhood: “On their part, the Ambassadors praised the active role of the
Party [Justice and Construction] in the political scene and confirmed their
standing with the Libyan people and Government despite its weaknesses and
they are keen to stabilize the region…The guests affirmed that they will assist
through Libyan legitimate entities as they did during the revolution.”108

In the wake of the chaos created by the removal of Gaddafi, al Qaeda is now
largely in control of Libya109 with the exception of the northern coastal
territory where ISIS is seeking to consolidate control. This can serve as a
platform for ISIS to stage terrorist attacks on Europe.110 ISIS may also use
their Libyan base to create pandemonium by threatening cruise ships111 and
closing down shipping lanes.112

Obama used Ambassador Christopher Stevens as his point man to funnel
arms first to the Libyan rebels and then to the Syrian rebels, via Turkey, to
support their fight to oust Syrian president Assad.113

Obama is now openly arming so-called moderate Syrian rebels under the
pretext of fighting ISIS.114

Obama pledged a staggering $1 billion in aid back in May 2011 to support the
Muslim Brotherhood revolution in Egypt to oust Hosni Mubarak.115

A delegation from the Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party met
with Obama administration officials in April 2012. Mohammed Morsi,
prominent member of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, was elected president of
Egypt in June 2012. Later that year, Morsi was hailed by the Obama
administration as a peacemaking pragmatist for his role in brokering a
ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.116

After Morsi became Egypt’s president, the Obama administration remained
on course to deliver no less than 20 F-16’s and 200 Abrams tanks that the
U.S. had promised to Mubarak’s administration.117

While Morsi was still in power, Obama pledged another $250 million of U.S.
aid to Egypt.118

In Jordan, the Brotherhood’s Islamic Action Front, the main opposition force
to King Abdullah II, is gaining ground fast on the heels of the ‘Islamist Winter’
[i.e., Arab Spring] revolutions and has helped lead regular demonstrations
against the monarchy.119 Near the end of May [2015], ISIS began moving
south from the Syrian city of Palmyra, which it had just conquered, toward
the northeastern border of Jordan. Some military sources believe ISIS is
positioning itself for a future attack on Jordan.120 Even though the U.S. has
pledged additional financial aid to Jordan since the immolation by ISIS of a
Jordanian pilot, it is unlikely that the Obama administration would provide
more than air support should ISIS invade Jordan.

Obama imposed a December 21, 2011 deadline for the withdrawal of all U.S.
troops from Iraq. Armed with this information, the terrorist groups only
needed to wait things out before they could continue their efforts to takeover
Iraq. The result of the premature troop withdrawal has been the rise of
ISIS.121 As of June 2015, ISIS controls major cities such as Ramadi, Fallujah,
and Mosul, and strategic border crossings into Jordan and Syria.122

At each turn, Obama has communicated to ISIS what the U.S. will and will not
do in fighting them. In February 2015, the U.S. military considered an attack
by ground troops to retake Mosul. The Pentagon gave a press conference to
defense reporters describing the troop strength that would be used, the
timing of the attack, and how the forces would descend on Mosul.123 In the
furor that followed that revelation, the attack was postponed indefinitely.124

After nearly a year of U.S. air campaigns against ISIS, the terrorist group has
effectively adapted its battlefield approach to use smaller and more mobile
units that opt for small-scale attacks.125

State Department Marie Harf has promoted the talking points set out by
Rashad Hussain in his paper “Reformulating the Battle of Ideas:
Understanding the Role of Islam in Counterterrorism Policy.” On February
12, 2015, she stated that the U.S. can’t defeat the Islamic State by killing
them. Instead the U.S. needs to go to the root causes that lead people to join
ISIS such as lack of job opportunities.126
The Destruction of Israel.

After its founding in 1928 by Hassan al-Banna, the Muslim Brotherhood
became allied with the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Amin al-Husseini. He was
fiercely opposed to a national home for Jews in Palestine and used his
position “to infuse Islam with fierce anti-Semitism.” In the 1930’s, al-Husseini
joined forces with the Nazis. He wrote in his memoirs, “Our fundamental
condition for cooperating with Germany was a free hand to eradicate every
last Jew from Palestine and the Arab world.” The Germans provided funds
which al-Husseini used to arm and train recruits to carry out revolts and
terrorist acts against the Jews.127

The Grand Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini of Iran was a follower of al-Banna’s
teachings. Al-Husseini’s cousin, Yasser Arafat, became the head of the PLO.
Hammas was co-founded by Muslim Brotherhood member Abdullah Azzam.
While teaching at the University of Jordan, Azzam hooked up with Osama bin
Laden. They eventually ended up in Afghanistan where they fought the Soviet
Union and then trained recruits to go back to Palestine and fight Israel. They
called the group al-Qaeda.128

Mohamed Badie, General Guide of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, said in
a speech given on July 27, 2012 "How happy would be the Muslims if all
Muslim rulers made the Palestinian cause a pivotal issue, around which
Muslims, rulers and the ruled, would line up.” Badie exhorted all Muslims to
form an alliance for the sole goal of recovering the “al Aqsa Mosque [located
in the old city part of Jerusalem], freeing it from the filth of the Zionists, and
imposing Muslim rule throughout beloved Palestine."129

The Muslim Brotherhood’s revered and widely influential Spiritual Guide
Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, is one of the most vocal proponents of
Palestinaian suicide bombings. In a 2010 interview on Egyptian television he
said, “According to Islamic law, in any country that is invaded by foreign
infidels, all the local people should conduct resistance against the occupation,

using all the means at their disposal…The Muslims worldwide must
contribute to the regaining of Palestine.”130

During the 2014 conflict between Hamas and Israel, Secretary of State John
Kerry conducted negotiations in Paris with representatives of Turkey and
Qatar, but not with any representatives from Israel or Egypt. The resulting
proposal was highly favorable toward Hamas.131 An Army Radio report on
July 25, 2014 noted that the US had signed an $11 billion arms deal with
Qatar on July 21st, and that “Qatar is championing Hamas’s demands in the
ceasefire negotiations, and is also alleged by Israel to be financing Hamas’s
rocket production, tunnel digging infrastructure, and other elements of its
military infrastructure.”132

Obama gave the Palestinians more than $400 million in aid during 2010,
much of which was likely used by Hamas to build the tunnels into Israel and
to purchase their arsenal.133 After the war between Hamas and Israel in
2014, the U.S. pledged a total of $414 million in aid. Again, there is no
reassurance that this aid will be used solely for humanitarian relief and
repair of the damaged buildings and other infrastructure.134 In fact, Hamas
resumed launching rockets at Israel in April 2015,135 with multiple rocket
attacks occurring during the last week of May and first week of June 2015.136

In the Middle East peace talks, Obama continues to insist on a complete
moratorium on building by Israel in the West Bank and to pressure Israel to
go back to their pre-1967 national boundaries. These boundaries are not
defensible and Israel would be forced to relinquish control over Jerusalem.137

Obama has publically snubbed and insulted Israeli prime minister Benjamin
Netanyahu at every possible turn. The evening before Netanyahu spoke
before Congress on March 3, 2015, John Kerry and White House officials
warned Netanyahu to not divulge any classified information from the
negotiations with Iran.138 No one from the Obama administration attended
the speech; vice president Joe Biden and secretary of state John Kerry were –
conveniently - elsewhere.139 Obama said he wouldn’t listen to the speech and
when he “read the transcript,” he dismissed Netanyahu’s speech and
concerns saying there was nothing new there.140

Before Netanyahu’s speech, the Obama administration limited the
information it shared with Israel about Iran’s nuclear program and the
current talks.141 Just prior to the speech, the Pentagon also released a
declassified Top Secret document revealing Israel’s nuclear secrets.142

Obama’s state department provided $350,000 in grants to the One Voice
Movement, whose subsidiary Israel-based Victory 15 actively campaigned for
Netanyahu’s rival Yitshak Herzog in the March 17, 2015 Knesset elections.

Herzog is in favor of a two-state solution and would likely have been
amenable to Obama’s agenda for Israel and Jerusalem.143

The White House accused Netanyahu of seeking to “marginalize Arab-Israeli
citizens” during the elections and POLITICO reported that, consequently, the
Obama administration is reconsidering the long-standing support that the
U.S. has given Israel at the United Nations.144 In other words, if the U.N. votes
on a resolution forcing a two-state solution upon Israel, the U.S. will vote in
favor of it.

Netanyahu has insisted that the Iran nuclear agreement include the
recognition of Israel’s right to exist. The Obama administration has denied
that plea.145
Pattern: Aiding Iran

Eric Stakelbeck believes that “[d]espite the current differences (seen most
clearly in the Syrian civil war, where Iran and Hezbollah are battling the
Brotherhood and al-Qaeda)…Shia Iran will [eventually work] closely with the
Brotherhood-led Sunni Islamist movement toward the common goals of
destroying Israel and taking on the West.”146 “…both Sunni and Shia consider
wiping Israel off the map and subjugating the hated, infidel West, led by the
United States, as the more pressing jihad [than Sunni versus Shia] and
overriding priority.”147

Although Sunni Hamas is supported by the Muslim Brotherhood, “the Iranian
regime has long served as Hamas’s largest supplier of funds – to the tune of
hundreds of millions of dollars a year – as well as terror training and
weaponry.”148

In Stakelbeck’s assessment, if Iran acquires “nuclear weapons and the longrange missiles capable of delivering them to the shores of the United States”,”
Iran would become “the undisputed strong horse in the Middle East. All of a
sudden, Iran would be able to flex its muscles and influence like never before
and legitimately claim the mantle of the leader of the Muslim World.”149 “The
harsh reality for the Sunnis is that a nuclear-armed jihadist Iran would
provide the best chance to crush Israel and the West and unify the Islamic
world.”150

On the other hand, Saudi Arabia has indicated that they won’t sit back and
idly watch should Iran obtain nuclear weapons. Former Saudi intelligence
chief Prince Turki bin Faisal, said in April 2015: “Whatever the Iranians have,
we will have, too.”151 The Saudis may temporarily ally with Iran for the
destruction of Israel and America, but the age-old conflict would soon
resume with both Sunni and Shia armed with nuclear weapons.

In an exclusive interview with NBC News during the first week of March
(2015) Iran’s Foreign Minister, Javad Zarif, said the Netanyahu regime
“should be annihilated.”152

Obama’s closest advisor, Iranian born Valerie Jarrett, is believed to have
secretly led negotiations in Iran for a year before formal negotiations began
in Geneva in November of 2013.153 At a minimum, between her inexperience,
and the potential bias toward Iran as the nation of her birth, Jarrett would
not have been able to effectively negotiate a treaty on America’s behalf.
Coupled with the communist connections of her family154 and what we now
know about the proposed agreement, it is likely she was willing to give Iran
everything they wanted.

Obama and John Kerry gave Iran $7 billion in released assets and loans as
sanctions relief in return its promise to limit its nuclear program.155 In 2014,
Iran was given access to $2.8 billion in frozen assets just for agreeing to
continue talks for four months.156

The Obama administration has enlisted the aid of Iran in fighting ISIS. Since
the fight takes the Iranian militia into Iraq, Obama may be giving Iran an
opportunity to take over Shia territory in Iraq.157 Although acknowledging
that Iran has sponsored terrorism and wants to get a nuclear bomb, Obama is
firm in his belief that Iran can be a “very successful regional power” and
seems determined to provide them that path.158

The current (spring - summer 2015) negotiations with Iran would allow it to
keep most of its nuclear infrastructure, while, in theory, delaying their bid for
nuclear weapons for 10 years. It seems Iran will not have to disclose the full
range of its nuclear activities nor will Iran be subject to oversight over its
nuclear infrastructure. “The United States is now willing to let Iran keep
many of its most controversial military sites closed to inspectors until
international sanctions pressure has been lifted…”159 Iran’s long-range
missiles and sponsorship of terrorism are not being discussed in the talks.160

Obama has avoided negotiating a formal treaty with Iran, calling it “a mere
executive agreement,” in order to avoid the necessity of having it ratified by
the Senate. Instead, Obama and Kerry have been working with the United
Nations to come up with “a comprehensive United Nations resolution [that]
can serve as a legally binding international treaty…”161

The Iranians will be allowed to keep their previously secret, “massive,
heavily-fortified, underground, blast-proof [nuclear] enrichment bunker” and
retain 1,000 centrifuges. The agreement does not forbid the installation of
advanced centrifuges, as long as they do no uranium enrichment.162

Iran’s FARS news agency reported on April 7, 2015 that Iran’s foreign
minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Atomic Energy Organization Head Ali
Akbar Salehi told Iranian lawmakers that “Iran planned to inject UF6 gas into
its latest generation centrifuge, the IR-8, which Iran has said could enrich
uranium 16 times faster than its older IR-1 centrifuge.” They plan to do this
as soon as the final deal takes effect.163

In spite of the Obama administration’s contention that the Iranian nuclear
program has been “frozen” during the negotiations, or even reduced as
Obama boasted, in reality Iran has increased its stockpile of nuclear fuel 20%
over the last 18 months.164

Middle East specialist Clare Lopez of the Center for Security Policy believes
that “all the evidence suggests that Iran already has nuclear warheads” and
that the only thing we don’t know for sure “is whether the Iranians have been
able to marry the nuclear warheads to missiles, which is technically a difficult
thing to do.” Lopez believes the Obama administration knows this but
Obama has pushed hard for a deal for the following reasons:




“Obama has decided to remove U.S. power and influence from the
Middle East and North Africa.”
“He has a worldview that sees America as influence for ill in the world
therefore, he must diminish that influence wherever and however
possible.”
“He has a worldview that sees Islam as suppressed and oppressed by
Western (colonial) powers and the U.S. as the inheritor of that
oppressive role.”
“He has a desire to “rectify” what is viewed as “injustice” suffered by
Islam at the hands of the West and has decided that the best way to do
that is for the U.S. to withdraw and allow and empower Islam to rise
back up again to what is seen as its “rightful” place in the world.”165

Lopez suggests that, in order to secure a nuclear deal with Iran, the Obama
administration may also have “agreed to Iranian regional hegemony, perhaps
a dominance secured by a nuclear capability.”166

The leader of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, commended the nuclear deal and
said “the deal will allow for a “stronger and wealthier Iran” regime that will
“stand by its allies [Hezbollah], and especially the Palestinian resistance
[Hamas], more than at any other time in history.””167

The National Intelligence Agency Director, James Clapper, delivered a report
(dated February 26, 2015) to the Senate that removes Iran and Hezbollah
from the terrorism list, citing the country's work against ISIS as one of the
reasons why.168

In April 2015, the Obama administration cut funds to Hayya Bina, the leading
anti-Hezbollah group in Lebanon. Instead, the U.S. will sell TOW-II missiles
and launchers to the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF), which has a close
relationship with Hezbollah. The LAF is “basically protecting Hezbollah’s rear
and flank on the Lebanese side of the border…to help sustain Hezbollah’s
effort in Syria.”169

According to former Defense Intelligence Agency Director Lt. General Michael
Flynn (Ret.), the nuclear agreement with Iran will give them “carte blanche to
become the hegemonic…dominant country in the Middle East…”170

Ali Reza Zakani, who is close to Ayatollah Khamenei and a Iranian parliament
representative from Tehran, said back in September 2014: “Three Arab
capitals [Beirut, Damascus, and Baghdad) have today ended up in the hands
of Iran and belong to the Islamic Iranian revolution.” Zakani noted that the
Yemen capital Sanaa) was on its way to also joining that revolution.171
Through these client states, Iran effectively surrounds all the pro-American
states (Israel, Jordan, and the Gulf States). If Yemen is secured by Iraniansponsored Houthi rebels, then Iran will have some measure of control over
Mandab Strait (connecting the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden)172 along with its
existing control over the Strait of Hormuz.173

With Syria’s army on the verge of collapse (June 5, 2015), Iran is sending up
to 50,000 troops to prevent the fall of Syrian president al-Assad. A major
deployment to Syrian would further inflame tensions in the Middle East
along the Shia-Sunni “fault line.”174

Since any nuclear deal with Iran would eventually eliminate existing
sanctions, Russia has decided to proceed with a deal to sell Iran Russian S300 air defense missiles. These missiles would make it very difficult to take
out Iran’s nuclear capabilities should they ‘breakout’ from the treaty and
build nuclear weapons. 175

The Obama administration is willing to offer almost any concession in order
to break the current [as of July 1, 2015] deadlock in the nuclear talks with
Iran. This includes a proposal to “forgo actual IAEA [International Atomic
Energy Agency] inspections of suspect Iranian nuclear facilities.”176 Fred
Fleitz, article author and national security expert wrote: “This proposed U.S.
concession is appalling, because it would allow Iran to shield military and
undeclared sites from IAEA inspectors.”177

Once Iran has secured a nuclear agreement, billions of dollars in unfrozen
assets would be made available for Iran to support its military deployment to
Syria and its proxy wars.178

Even the UN believes that Obama has “whitewashed” both sanctions and
nuclear violations so that the nuclear talks with Iran are not jeopardized.179
Although Iran has been in violation of UN Security Council resolutions and
the interim Joint Plan of Action (JPOA, from April 2015 negotiations), the
Obama administration “is denying they ever happened or labeling them as
inconsequential.”180 For instance, Iran was obligated by the JPOA to convert
all excess uranium gas into uranium dioxide, but instead converted into a
different oxide that is easily reconverted into usable uranium. “Once it
became news that the Iranians cheated on the conversion, the Obama
administration went to work retroactively rewriting the deal on Iran’s
behalf.” 181

Update: An agreement was reached with Iran on July 14, 2015 in which
“according to Iran state media, none of the Iranian nuclear facilities will be
dismantled or decommissioned and nuclear research and development
activities will continue. The arms embargo, they report, will “be annulled and
replaced with certain restrictions” that only last five years.”182 Although
Obama touts the verification aspect of the agreement, it appears to give Iran
the ability to veto any inspection they choose.183In addition, the agreement
frees up some $150 billion in assets that have been frozen under the previous
sanctions.184 Iran will also be able to sell its oil once again on the world
markets; the potential for a glut has already driven oil prices lower.185 Obama
has warned Congress that if they attempt to pass any legislation to thwart the
agreement, he will veto it.186
