Purchasing a new car can be both exciting but also
nerve-racking. The reason for this is that most people are
cheerful that they are about to buy a new car, but are
also a little skeptical on what vehicle would be the best for
them at the present time. At this present time one of the
most important things to research is what the gas mileage
is on the vehicles you are looking at and whether you are
suppose to use regular, premium, or supreme gas. Gas
prices are higher now than ever, and buying a vehicle
that consumes a heavy amount of gas is not a wise
decision unless you can afford it. Outside of gas prices
there are many other different criteria that must be
considered when purchasing a new car. In the following
few paragraphs I will state to you the complete process of
steps to take when considering the purchase of a new
vehicle.
One of the biggest problems with car buyers today is that
they do not put in a substantial amount of research before
they buy a car or truck. Often people go to dealerships
and get finagled into buying things that they do not want
or need just because a salesman is a very smooth talker
who tricked you by giving you all these worthless features
that you may never use or want. If you do the necessary
research you can overcome the trickery by knowing the
vehicles that have the features you want and or need,
instead of the vehicles that they want to sell you. A highly
recommended place to find even the minutest details
about cars you are thinking about purchasing is

When it comes to you budget this is the way you should save when buying a new car:
Your Proactive Steps to Saving Money When Buying a New Car
1) Create a budget, obtain your credit report, get your car financing in order.
2) Use car buying sites for new car dealer invoice price, new car price quotes.
3) Get financing online before you go to the dealership with Capital One Auto Finance
or HSBC Auto Finance.
4) Visit new car dealers or their web sites to view new car model configurations.
5) Use new car pricing info from FightingChance.com
6) Negotiate your new car purchase via phone, fax, email, or in person based on our
spreadsheet.
7) Close on your new car purchase, avoid needless extras, use the internet to buy an
extended warranty
Outside of the cost, gas mileage, and features, you should be very concerned about
the safety when riding in the car that you are thinking about purchasing. In order to find
out whether the vehicle that you are thinking about buying meets your level of safety
you will want to look up the consumer safety reports of the vehicle you have chosen.
The easiest way to find out the safety ratings of your chosen vehicles is by visiting
Consumerreports.org, which can be seen in a screenshot next slide.
The last thing to consider when purchasing a new car is
making sure this is not the first year this model came out.
My reason for this is often there is recalls and minor defects
in the first cars off the assembly line that can be overcome
by just waiting for the same model in the following year to
be released. This will save you from having to worry about
many recalls and or lemons that you may experience in
purchasing the first models off the assembly line.
RECAP
In a recap these are the steps that you should take when
purchasing a new car:
 Find a vehicle that fits your gas mileage and gas grade.
 Find a vehicle that fits your budget.
 Find a vehicle that has the features you want and need.
 Find a vehicle that fits your level of safety.
Through reading this you can see that purchasing a car is
not something that someone should just jump into. You
must consider much criteria before you go to the
dealership and make an offer. If you do not follow the
steps in purchasing a new car there is a high probability
that you will not get the car you really want. Many people
are impatient, and want what they think they want when
they want it. These are the same people who will be trying
to trade their car in for something different in the following
year. This all can be avoided if you take the proper time
and do the amount of research necessary to make a wise
decision. Everyone must remember to follow these steps:
find a vehicle that fits your gas mileage and gas grade,
find a vehicle that fits your budget, find a vehicle that has
the features you want and need, and find a vehicle that
fits your level of safety, and chances are you will have
found the vehicle that is perfect for you.
