Hello Parents!
Your children are great! It has been a
pleasure getting to know them these two
weeks. They are ready to learn! They are very
bright and creative. They ask so many
questions which is definitely encouraged in
my class! We have big things planned this
year in third grade! I am looking forward to
teaching your kids!

Each week, I will distribute this newsletter informing you
of the content of the week’s lesson and upcoming events.
In an attempt to save paper and ink, I will send it
electronically via email from this issue on. If you prefer a
paper copy please let me know!

text me on my cell phone (210)260-4707 to ask or to let
me know that they emailed. Please do not call my cell
phone.
Our class webpage on is up on the WUES website. Place
cursor over classrooms, click 3rd grade, then find and click
Ms. Herrera’s class on the left hand side.
One last thing, we do have some students with food
allergies. If you would like to bring in snacks please avoid
or bring an alternative to anything with fish/shrimp,
chocolate, nuts, and peanut butter.
