Reread Act II, scene ii, Hamlet’s Soliloquy, “What a piece of work in man”.
Explain the internal conflict that Hamlet expresses in this soliloquy. Then
describe a time when the world around you seemed dead, when you weren’t
moved by anything (nothing could bring you out of your bad mood). What
caused you to go into this slump?
