Tracking characters in DRAMA
● Every author designs characters with specific qualities for a specific
reason. Understanding how the character's traits or qualities affect the plot
is important to the study of literature.
● Through the study of the story "The Grasshopper and the Ant" students will
begin to see how different characters react to the same conflict in a unique
way. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YK_LCjQQCPk
● This week we will look at characters in a drama. A drama is another word
for play. Parts of a drama:
❖ Act
❖ Characters
❖ Scene
❖ Narrator
