2000. However, they finally legalized Marijuana medically in November 2012. Since Colorado has legalized Marijuana the number of traffic fatalities has decreased 16 percent.

The professor’s discovered there were 7 negative effects of the legalization based on research from “The Legalization of marijuana in Colorado: The impact.” The number one effect was majority DUI drug arrests involved marijuana.

The article discusses the abuse of Marijuana since its legalization. The use of Marijuana is illegal under the federal law but an estimated 18 people were users in 2011. Since the legalization by states the number of users has increased to 27 percent.

When asked why he ‘opened the dispensary’ he replied how good the profit is and the people that were smoking before are the main people still smoking.

Many medical users of marijuana are disappointed with the recreational use being legalized because people don’t take it serious enough.
