the directions. Create a crossword puzzle using clues /definitions of the following
terms/phrases. Please provide a copy to the teacher and keep a copy yourself.
Terms/Phrases: Ex Post Facto Laws, Writ of Habeas Corpus, Bill of Rights, Fourteenth
Amendment, Due Process Rights, Equal Protection Rights

Terms/Phrases: Judicial Review, Electoral College, Branches of Government, Checks and
Balances, Unwritten Constitution, Legislative, Executive, Judicial, Federalism, Separation of
Powers, Concurrent Powers.

Go to www.quia.com/profiles/lmohl and do the following. Click on Activities then go to
“Miss Mohl’s US History. “
IV.
Play game “The Road to the American Revolution”. Write down what level you reached
below.
V.
Play game “Three Branches of Government Review”. Write down what level you reached
below.
VI.
Play game “Unit II: Branches of Government Hangman”. Write down all the terms and
phrases you were able to get before the end of each game.
VII.
Play game “Constitution”. Play one game each of Flashcards, Matching , Concentration and
Word Search. Write down terms/phrases you had difficulty with remembering.
VIII.
Now turn to page 34 in the “Quick” US History Review book. Read the Thematic Essay
question carefully. Please fill in the chart that follows the format of the essay.
