Tease: One. This. This. This Is. Two. PGA TOUR. PGA TOUR. This Is PGA TOUR Canada. This Is
PGA TOUR Canada. Se Si PGA TOUR Canada. PGA TOUR Canada. And This Is PGA TOUR
Canada. Ready. Aim. Fire!
Titles –WELCOME TO THE BEST OF THIS IS PGA TOUR CANADA.
THE IDEA BEHIND PGA TOUR CANADA IS SIMPLE. TAKE A WELL ESTABLISHED TOUR
WITH A HISTORY OF FOSTERING TALENT, CREATE A PGA TOUR EXPERIENCE AND
REWARD GOOD PLAY WITH A STEP UP TO THE NEXT LEVEL. IT GAVE PROFESSIONAL
GOLF IN CANADA A WHOLE NEW LOOK AND FEEL.
Sots from Victoria: isn’t it unbelieveable.
It’s the next big thing.
Just being involved with something with the pga tour’s name on it was huge for the players.
You can already just tell the buzz around here amongst the players and just some of the fans
and the volunteers.
Everything just seems proper. It seems like a mini PGA TOUR.
Everything about seems like a bigger tour. It’s more professional.
It looks like you’re at a big event right now, so it has that feel right now.
It gives our tour a lot of credibility, the marketing that the pga tour brings and the talent. You
know, everyone’s going to be coming up here to play now.
THROUGH NINE EVENTS ACROSS CANADA, THE BUZZ WAS ALL ABOUT MAKING “THE 5”
– THE TOP 5 MONEY WINNERS WHO MOVE UP TO THE WEB.COM TOUR NEXT YEAR.
Sots: Joe Panzeri: Everybody’s goal is top 5 or first on the money list. So every event is big.
And if you can come in here and get a win, I mean that literally can change your year, possibly
your life.
Riley wheeldon: guys are starting to get themselves into the mindset of hey, I’m on the pga tour
or this is what I’m going to need to do on the next level.
Mackenzie hughes. The tour this year was so deep and they had so many players showing up
from all across the world to play this tour because they all knew of they had a great year they
had a chance to earn a web.com tour card. And with the exception of the latino america tour,
there is no other tour that’s offering that.
Hugo leon: I played here a few years and I think that the level of golf has stepped up quite a bit.
Besides the web.com and the pga tour on the entire continent, this is the highest level of golf
you can find.
Wil Collins: There’s so many players that just want to get their foot in the door. Everybody
wants to be what the pga tour’s a part of because everybody wants to get to the highest level
and have some fun.
AFTER A GREAT START, PGA TOUR CANADA WILL ONLY GROW STRONGER IN THE YEARS
TO COME, DEVELOPING FUTURE STARS AND ENRICHING COMMUNITES ACROSS CANADA.
13CAN11 [THIS IS PGA TOUR CANADA #11 MASTER SCRIPT]
Sot Wil Collins: the message was sent out what we were about. I think the players on the tour
got into the community really well. It was a different feeling up here this year. I don’t think the
year could have gone any better and I only imagine its going to grow.
Sot Riley Wheeldon: I think the Canadian fans embraced the pga tour’s presence within Canada.
And then with myself being a Canadian obviously, I think I got a little bit of a extra boost each
week from the crowd. I heard a lot of guys talking about how nice everybody is here in Canada
so I think its good publicity for the players, for the tour and for our country.

WHEN WE COME BACK, 4 STRAIGHT WEEKS, 4 BIG TOURNAMENTS DECIDE WHO EARNS
A SPOT ON THE WEB.COM TOUR.
SEGMENT 2:
WELCOME BACK TO THE BEST OF THIS IS PGA TOUR CANADA
EACH WEEK, WE ASKED PGA TOUR CANADA PLAYERS 5 QUESTIONS, SOME ABOUT GOLF,
SOME NOT… HERE ARE OUR 5 FAVORITE ANSWERS…
Sot: james love: I guess they only had his name tag to put on the range so when I showed up
they didn’t have mine, so they just improvised and put his down. It confused a couple of people
on the range.
Kent eger: I’ve played lots of big courses, and they’re all big and nice but I always tend to like
those little 5900 yarders, par 69 that you can just kind of drive every green, putt for lots of eagle
and drink a six pack and it wont affect your score that much, you know.
Tyler mancini: these are the top guys in the world. Adam Scott is a well known name. He’s one
of the best players in the world. And you watch these guys hit it and you start to wonder, like
these guys don’t hit it that much better than I do. It’s a few more up and downs a round, and
maybe one more fairway hit here and there. And you watch the top guys on our tour and you
could put them in the web.com or pga and they would do well.
Nick taylor: a couple of years ago I was playing a tournament. Hit a bunker shot, was frustrated.
Kind of just swung at the sand just to hit it. And it was a hot muggy day like it was, club goes
flying out of my hands, flies up and gets stuck in a tree. Um, that’s for sure the most
embarrassing. Learned my lesson and I wont do it again.
Mackenzie hughes: I like the theme song from Rudy or I could put on a Rocky montage and
sometimes that will do. I don’t even need words. (sings Rocky theme)

LEON SHOW 7 REAP SUB(01:06:55): obviously what comes with this, it’s a great thing, but I’ll take the

SEGMENT 4:
YOU’RE WATCHING THE BEST OF THIS IS PGA TOUR CANADA.
THE 5 PLAYERS WHO EARNED THEIR WEB.COM TOUR CARDS EACH TRAVELLED
DIFFERENT ROADS TO GET THERE. BUT THEY’RE UNITED BY A DESIRE TO PLAY GOLF AT
THE WORLD’S HIGHEST LEVEL.
Sot wil Collins: confidence is kind of a key word. After losing my card in 2009, a few years after that 2010 and
2011 I floundered around. I was dabbling with different things, new swings and it wasn’t working. It was hard on my
psyche. It wasn’t until that stretch of july that I started to cultivate that belief in myself and in my game. And really
reminded me of why I’m doing this and where I want to go. I’m headed in the right direction. I’m excited where I’m at.
I’m thrilled and I feel like my mind and my belief system are where they need to be to have success next year.
Sot leon: 4023 I’m a little older. I had to deal with a year and half that was very very difficult for me. But that made
me a lot tougher on the golf course. I realize that this game is, the margin is very small. It can be great and it can be
bad even though its not that much of a difference. I don’t take anything for granted. I’m more motivated now and I’ve
worked harder for the last 2 years than I ever have before. So I am not going to slow down any, I’m going to keep
working as hard and playing as much. I think that a second time around is definitely an advantage.
Sot mark hubbard: I felt like I have been good enough to win for a while but I haven’t. Obviously thinking you’re good
enough and actually winning is a whole different thing. So yeah, it was huge. I qualified for the reno tahoe open,
Page 8 of 9
13CAN11 [THIS IS PGA TOUR CANADA #11 MASTER SCRIPT]
being out there, playing with them, hanging with the guys on tour/// just being out and being on the range. there was
an eye opener. I felt like I belonged there you know. After that I had a lot of confidence and the win sums it up. I’m
definitely feeling really confident about my game.
Sot riley wheeldon: Any time you win at any level it’s unparalleled for your confidence. Once you know that you can do
it then every time you’re in that situation moving forward you can draw on those experiences. // knowing that I won on
this level and that I was able to finish second among all these guys for an entire season at this level, bodes well for the
next level. I think that I can translate the performance this summer to the web.com tour next year and hopefully finish
inside the top 25.
Sot Mackenzie hughes: from where I started this yea rmissing my first three cuts, questioning myself a little bit, getting
that reassurance from the people around me. I had a good team around me, parents, coaches. To get that reassurance
and to finish the year the way I did. I had a great run there in the last few weeks and its an incredible feeling.
DURING OUR SEASON OF SHOOTING, WE’VE HAD SOME GOOFS AND SOME SQUIRRLY
MOMENTS. HERE ARE OUR TOP FIVE BLOOPERS OF THE SEASON.
AT NUMBER 5, YOHANN BENSON AND KYLE STOUGH GO FOR A WILD RIDE AND LOSE A
HELMET CAMERA IN THE PROCESS.
AT NUMBER FOUR, STEPHEN LECUYER JUST CAN’T STAY UPRIGHT ON THE SPEED
SKATING OVAL.
AT NUMBER 3, JESSE SMITH AND A TEN YEAR OLD PLAY FOLLOW THE LEADER.
AT NUMBER 2, STUART ANDERSON HAS FUN WITH HIS CAMERA TIME.
SOT Anderson: Guh. Should I do the double guns a blazing here. On. Easy word to remember.
On. This Is PGA TOUR Canada. I just want to feel like I can do a Phil Mickelson double fist pump
right now. (laughter)
AND NUMBER 1, J.J. REGAN CANNONBALLS HIMSELF.
