‘Unique and Compelling’:
The Stowaway Adventure
The “Text book” Problem
A ship travels from point A to point B in 24
hours as shown on the attached map. Using
the map, determine:
1. Where you are going; &
2. When you will arrive.

‘Unique and Compelling’:
The Stowaway Adventure
The Internet Enhanced Problem:
Imagine you are a stowaway on a cargo boat.
Cautiously looking over the edge of the vessel,
you see nothing but ocean on all sides, and you
decide that you want to get back home without
alerting the ship's crew to your presence.
You know only the ship's identification code,
lucky for you; you remembered to pack your
laptop, cellular phone and modem.
