• Stoichiometry is the proportional relationship
between amounts of product and reactant in a
chemical reaction.
• Composition stoichiometry deals with the mass
relationships of elements in compounds.
• Reaction stoichiometry involves the mass
relationships between reactants and products in a
chemical reaction.
