1. Students should read section one of Fahrenheit 451 (pages 3-68) by Monday, 11/2.
2. 4th period: the Lesson 2 vocabulary exercises are due Tuesday, 11/3.
3. 5th period: the Lessons 1 and 2 vocabulary review exercises are due Tuesday, 11/3.
4. 4th period: the Lessons 1 and 2 vocabulary review exercises are due Wednesday, 11/4.
5. Both classes: The Lessons 1 and 2 vocabulary quiz will be administered on Thursday, 11/5.
6. The Fahrenheit 451 Section One project is due by Tuesday, 11/10.

Tuesday, 11/3
1. Students will work on their Section One project in the computer lab after checking answers to the Lesson 2
vocabulary exercises (4th period) or the Lessons 1 and 2 vocabulary review exercises (5th period). (The quiz on Lessons
1 and 2 will be on Thursday for both classes.)
2. 4th period homework: complete the Lessons 1 and 2 vocabulary review exercises, all problems.
Wednesday, 11/4
1. 4th period: Students will work on their Section One project in the computer lab after checking the Lessons 1 and 2
vocabulary exercises.
2. 5th period: Students will work on their Section One project in the computer lab.
a. Homework for both classes: study the Lessons 1 and 2 vocabulary words and roots as you will take the quiz
tomorrow.
Thursday, 11/5
1. All students will take the Lessons 1 and 2 vocabulary quiz before heading to the computer lab.
2. Today is the last day for students to work on their Section One projects in the computer lab. Please share your Section
One project with me before class starts Tuesday.
Friday, 11/6
1. Much of the class will be at KMS Town. Those students who are at school will have silent work time. Students will
either read Fahrenheit 451 or else work on their Section One project, which is due no later than Tuesday of next
week. Please read Section Two of Fahrenheit 451 by Thursday of next week.
Monday, 11/9
1. Pass back tests/retests and check answers.
2. 4th period: an introduction to participial phrases.
3. 5th period: an introduction to gerund phrases.
4. Anybody who has not taken the Lessons 1 and 2 vocabulary quiz needs to take that quiz either today or tomorrow.
5. Homework due tomorrow:
