EXECUTIVE APPLICATION
Hand in all applications to Room 306 in South Hall before or after school or during lunch periods
to Ms. Thornley
All applications will be assessed, and interviews will be scheduled based on application. Candidates from OUTSIDE
TURNER FENTON WILL NOT be considered for Executive positions.
Executive Positions:
Conference Chairs (2): Responsible for entire execution, planning, organizing, and staffing of
Conference, including ensuring all activities assigned to the executive are completed effectively
and efficiently.
Ministers of Leadership Development (2): Responsible for developing conference program
and helping the Leadership Development team, as well as designing an artistic delegate manual.
Heads of Security (2): Responsible for attaining teacher supervision and staff needed for
conference and helping select and train the Security team.
Heads of C-COM and Food (2): Responsible for leading C-COM team to effectively execute
necessary conference tasks. Includes working with kitchen staff to develop a menu for
the conference or finding an outside caterer.
Heads of Promotions (2): Responsible for coordinating all promotional activities for
conference, including promoting delegate positions for TFSS students, decorating the facility,
and booking media to publicize conference activities, guest speaker and DJ. Registration
and record management is a critical new function of this position.
Heads of Sponsorship and Entertainment (2): Responsible for seeking sponsorship from the
community and researching guest speakers and entertainment options to present to the Exec.,
confirming contracts with agencies providing services.
Heads of Web & Tech (2): Responsible for designing an artistic efficient website for the START
conference, preparing ads, and for coordinating all tech activities for the duration of the
conference. *** (Requires experience with website design and Photoshop)
Junior Representatives (2 students attending grade 10 in 2015-2016): Responsible for assisting executives
in planning and executing conference tasks. Specifically, they are responsible for recording minutes from
each executive meeting and planning The Big Game.

Draft a sponsorship letter (1 page MAX) you could use to get funding from companies for START 2015.
