WHAT IS A DEMONSTRATIVE SPEECH
 A “HOW TO” speech walks the audience through a process of steps to a clear goal
 We do these speeches because it is important for your future success to be able to
explain processes thoroughly in an organized way
ASSIGNMENT DUE 10/20
 For this assignment, you will demonstrate for the audience “how to” do
something.
 This speech requires a Visual Aid
 Speeches should AT LEAST 3 minutes long but anywhere from 3-5 minutes is fine.
 Speech should have a MINIMUM OF 5 STEPS
 Some examples are
• How to make a sandwich
• How to tie shoes
• How to post a picture on Instagram
