TOWER BRIDGE SCHOOL NEWSLETTER
6th February 2015
First Aid
In school children often have minor accidents.
We just want to let you know that we will no longer be
texting you about every bump to the head or accident
they have in school. However for some accidents you
may be called by a first aider.
Polling Day
We have been informed by Southwark that Tower Bridge School
will be used as a Polling Station on Thursday 7th May 2015. When
we were contacted we requested they find an alternative venue,
unfortunately this was not possible. School will be closed on this
day to all children, with the exception of Year 6 who will be
taught at Snowsfields Primary School on this day.
Parentgym
We had a great Parentgym taster session on Tuesday.
Session 1 starts on Tuesday 10th February and runs
for 6 weeks. Each session is 2 hours and there will be a
crèche provided for small children. Tea, coffee and
other refreshments will also be provided. If you are
interested in joining Parentgym, please see Michelle
Moran for more details.
Safer Internet Day
On Tuesday
February we shall be teaching the
children about staying safe online. A parent workshop
will be held in the assembly hall at 9.15am for parents
who would like to know more and work with their
children making Safebots! Dominic Williams, our
local community police officer will be there to guide
you further. We hope to see lots of you there!

A Week in Year 5
On
Monday,
Year 5
went to
the
London
Eye.
We walked along the river to the
London Eye. We saw lots of sights
including St. Pauls Cathedral, Big
Ben and the Houses of Parliament.
We were searching for clues to help
solve the mystery story we are
reading in Literacy. How did our
character, Salim, disappear from
one of these pods?
