teachers giving students the answers
and expecting them to give the
answers back, students must find the
answers, demonstrate understanding
by applying their knowledge to realworld situations and explain them in
writing.

WE NEED TO SHIFT AWAY FROM - Lectures,
powerpoint presentations, worksheets, “teacher
talk”, memorizing facts and giving them back on
a multiple choice test, etc, etc, etc,

and thinking, discussing and arguing, applying
knowledge to solve problems, hands-on learning
with an emphasis on DEEPER LEARNING.
