reasons beyond the student’s control. The ‘I’ grade must be discussed with and approved by the instructor before
the end of the session.
I prefer you send a personal e-mail message if you are having difficulty with your assigned work; however, telephonic
coordination or Blackboard is acceptable. If you have difficulty with an assignment, send me an e-mail. Include your
file, a detailed description of the problem and, if applicable, page and step numbers. You will typically receive a
response within 24 - 48 hours.
NOTE: You are not required to submit print outs.
17. Tentative Schedule: (Calendar, Topics, Assignments)
Submission of Assignments:
A good goal is to complete all weekly assignments (training exercises, quizzes and projects) by midnight Friday of
each week. We will not use the Digital Drop Box or Safe Assignment feature of Blackboard for this course. All
training, projects, and exams will be done through http://sam2010.course.com .
I will post FAQs and instructions on how to sign in and create a SAM 2010 user account on Blackboard under
“Lecture Notes.”
4
NOTE: This class contains no group projects. All work must be the result of each submitting student's individual
effort. The SAM 2010 site has a security feature for each project. You can only turn in your own work because you
will be given a unique starting document with your name on it, that only you can complete.
NOTE: This syllabus in only a plan and may be adjusted during the course. Check on Blackboard where I will post
the latest version of the syllabus.
