This is the featured activity of the 2012 CASA Whistler
Conference. We have arranged for every CASA 2012
delegate to enjoy this experience at the closing of the
conference. The Door Prizes will be awarded at the top
of the Peak2Peak Experience. Extra tickets can be
purchased for guests/family members.
The record-breaking Peak 2 Peak Gondola is an
engineering marvel that links Blackcomb and Whistler
Mountains together at their peaks. Boasting the longest
unsupported lift span in the world (3.024 kilometres or 1.88
miles), it is also the highest lift of its kind with an elevation
of 435 metres/1,427 feet.

Explore the diversity of Whistler’s backcountry on this
signature tour. Climb high into the mountains and experience
dramatic valley views. Adventure builds an appetite, so
indulge in a delicious deli‐ style lunch in the tranquility of the
backcountry. A perfect tour for those seeking a taste of
everything!
Minimum: 2 machines required for tour to run
Guest to Guide ratio: 1 guide per 5 machines
Includes: Helmet, outerwear, boots, gloves, dust masks if
required, glasses/goggles
Minimum Requirements & Age: Driver must be 16 years old,
with a valid driver’s license, and be accompanied with an
adult on tour (adult must be 19 years or older). Children must
be 4 feet tall, able to hang on to an adult and fit our extra
small helmet.
Suggested Clothing: Comfortable clothing for the day
including a warm shirt or outer layer. No open toe shoes or
sandals.

The Eagle tour includes 5 ziplines; on this tour your adventure
ends by zipping all the way back to Whistler Village. A 2000
foot awe-inspiring zipline makes this tour perfect for those
who are seeking even more heart-pounding adrenaline! Total
tour duration is three (3) hours. Wear comfortable, supportive
athletic or hiking shoes. Open toed shoes, sandals and dress
shoes are not permitted.
Rain gear (jackets and pants) is available as required. Tours
run rain or shine. Harnesses are a five-point design. They go
around your waist, your legs, over your shoulders and have a
chest strap. They're really comfortable for walking around, are
lightweight and give guests the security they need and the
freedom to move around when on the ziplines. Weight
requirement is 65lbs/30kgs to a maximum of 275lbs/125kgs.

For a unique dining experience, journey by ATV to the Crystal
Hut, perched atop Blackcomb Mountain at 6,000 feet. From
the deck of the rustic and charming cabin enjoy the rich array
of alpine colours and panoramic views of the surrounding
Coastal Mountain Range. Relax and enjoy our live
entertainment as your chef prepares a sampling of West
Coast fare including fresh cedar plank barbequed wild BC
salmon, salads and dessert.

There's no better way to spend an evening in Whistler than
exploring the eclectic dessert scene. Guests will sample treats
from some of the best chefs in town, hit the best hot spot for
cocktails and finish with a champagne sabering lesson in an
unbelievable 15,000-bottle wine cellar.
Meet at the Brewhouse in the North Village right beside the
Olympic rings for a welcome drink. Then we go to Flipside
Lounge for Valrhona chocolate mousse, then Quattro for
marinated griottine cherry on lemon mascarpone and Amaretti
cookie. After this we head to Hot Buns Bakery for chocolate
hazelnut crepe, then to Mix or FireRock Lounge for a cocktail
(mocktail available for non-drinkers). Our next stop is a Local
Chocolate Shop for a chocolate treat, and then we go to
Bearfoot Bistro for a pastry chef creation and 3 ounce glass of
sparkling wine.
The tour finishes in the 15,000-bottle wine cellar at the
Bearfoot Bistro where guests will learn the old French tradition
of champagne sabering. One lucky guest will take the sword
and chop open the bottle.
Throughout the evening your guide will enhance the
experience with their local knowledge and enthusiasm for the
wonderful dining scene in Whistler. Guests will also collect a
playing card at each venue with prizes for the best poker
hands at the last stop!
$69/person - includes gratuities for restaurant servers and
taxes. Guests must be at least 19 years old for this tour.

The Elaho Squamish River Adventure is a tale of two rivers
and a mid season classic. Paddle the exhilarating rapids of
the Elaho then flow into the Squamish River for unbelievable

instruction and professional guides.

reach the charming Crystal Hut perched 6000feet atop

ZOOM combines the exhilarating feeling of soaring through
the air with the breathtaking beauty of Cougar Mountain and
the Whistler Valley. Our unique system allows two guests to
ride side by side, each on his or her own cable during a
scenic three hour tour. The excursion includes five dual
zip‐ lines connected to each other by a network of trails and
boardwalks. The largest zip‐ line is over 1500 feet in length,
400 feet above the ground and offers a 200 foot elevation
drop from launch to landing, reaching speeds of up to 100
km/hr. (60 mph).

It’s time to saddle up for a scenic horseback tour, located on
the edges of Green Lake, only moments from Whistler Village.

beginners and families looking for a soft adventure, your
mountain bred horses will take you on a journey away from
the summer crowds and onto the trails.

This half day ride is the ultimate horseback adventure for

Taman Sari Spa is Whistler's spot for relaxation. It’s the only
fully authentic Javanese style spa in North America. Sign up
to experience the Javanese massage. This massage draws
inspiration from a century-old massage tradition among the
Javanese Royalties, the main treatment for maintaining health
and well-being. Palm and thumb strokes applied with a unique
blend of Indonesian essential oil will help stimulate blood
circulation and loosen muscles. Enjoy a range of other
treatments such as deep tissue and relaxation massage, body
and facial treatments and manicure and pedicure with
reflexology.

the Soo Valley, Cougar and Rainbow Mountains. This tour
features a vast network of tough 4x4 off‐ road trails, aboard
our unique, customized vehicles that run on 100% vegetable
oil. Our guides will take guests to amazing viewpoints, pristine
alpine lakes and rugged backcountry – keep your eyes peeled
for wildlife!

ZOOM combines the exhilarating feeling of soaring through
the air with the breathtaking beauty of Cougar Mountain and
the Whistler Valley. Our unique system allows two guests to
ride side‐ by‐ side, each on their own cable during a scenic
three‐ hour tour. The excursion includes five dual zip‐ lines
connected to eachother by a network of trails and boardwalks.
The largest zip‐ line is over 1500’ in length, 400’ above the
ground and offers a 200’ elevation drop from launch to
landing, reaching speeds of up to 100km/hr. (60mph).

Experience
This is the closing and featured activity of the 2012 CASA
Conference. We have arranged for all delegates to have this
amazing experience. The record-breaking Peak 2 Peak
Gondola is an engineering marvel that links Blackcomb and
Whistler Mountains together at their peaks. Boasting the
longest unsupported lift span in the world (3.024 kilometres or
1.88 miles), it is also the highest lift of its kind with an
elevation of 435 metres/1,427 feet.
