W. G. Northover Associates Limited was established in 1995 and incorporated
under the Company’s Act of Jamaica. The company maintains its specialty in
Construction, Infrastructure Development and Civil Engineering and provides a
wide range of services to various organizations including Private Enterprise and
Government Institutions.
The company through its high standards and quality delivery of contracts
maintains inclusion on the Government Register of Public Sector Contractors

MANAGEMENT PROFILE
Winston Northover(Deceased) Former Managing Director – Blasting Specialist
Mr. Northover had over thirty five years in the field of construction. Mr.
Northover is accredited with the principles on which the company’s core service is
based.
Mr. Northover’s motivation to succeed had earned him outstanding recognition
among Jamaica’s finest Construction and Blasting Experts. Trained by the best in
the field, he was recognized and respected for his knowledge, experience and
expertise in the construction industry. He engaged in several major projects in
Jamaica.
Mr. Northover experience Includes:

Eric Northover – Acting Managing Director
Mr. Northover has worked with the Company in the construction Industry for
over Ten (10) years, following his return from the United States. In addition to his
onsite experience he has developed his expertise while understudying his father
Winston Northover who departed this life in year 2012. Eric Northover has gained
a wealth of experience and has continued the astute administrative management
of the company to which he has been exposed.
Charles Manborde – Project Manager
Mr. Manborde has over Thirty (30) years of experience in the Construction
Industry. He has worked in the Bauxite Industry, in Building Construction, Roads,
Pipelines, Haulage and Transportation, Drilling & Blasting and recently completed
our quota on the Palisadoes Road Rehabilitation Project with China Harbour
Engineering Co. Ltd. He brings to each project the dynamism and work attitude
which builds the team spirit of the company’s associates for the completion of
projects on schedule and within budget.
Mr. Godfrey Dixon – Company Secretary/Accountant
Mr. Dixon has been working with the company for Fifteen (15) years. He has over
forty (40) years of experience as an Accountant. He works along with the
Company’s Auditors to manage the financial and administrative affairs of the
company. His drive and inspiration have proved most valuable in enabling the
company to complete our projects on schedule and to the satisfaction of our
clients.

JORGE ENRIQUE de ARMAS LUIS BSc. - CIVIL ENGINEER
Mr. Armas Luis is a certified Civil Engineer and a member of the Professional
Engineers Registration Board (PERB).
Mr. Armas Luis has over thirty (25) years of experience in the construction
industry and has worked with several organizations in Jamaica, Cuba and
Columbia. He is skilled in Engineering Designs for the Housing Industry, Large
Scale Housing Projects, Physical Planning and Project Management & Supervision.
Also Business Analysis, Physical and Environmental Planning, Sales, Public
Relations and Legal matters. He has worked with Housing Authority of Jamaica
(formerly National Housing Development Corporation), Kemtek Development &
Construction Ltd., Kravitz Homes, Patrick Atchison & Associates among others.
Mr. Armas Luis experience includes:

ROYDEL KINGHORNE – CONSULTING ENGINEER (BUILDING CONSTRUCTION)
Mr. Kinghorne graduated from the Institute of Structural Engineers (London) in
Theory of Structure (Advanced) and Structural Engineering Design and Practice.
He is a member of the Professional Engineers Registration Board (PERB).
Mr. Kinghorne possesses extensive experience spanning over 45 years and has
served with the Ministry of Housing and Construction as Executive Engineer and
Director of Construction, Managing Director of Benking Construction Ltd., Project
Manager Kingston Free Zone.
TECHNICAL TEAM
SAMUEL CHRISTIE – Blasting Technician
Mr. Christie is our Senior Blaster. He has in excess of 35 years of experience in
safe blasting practice, in road, water, sewage and drainage works. He has
completed advance courses in Blasting Safety and Operations.
CAREY SAMPSON – Construction manager/Engineer
Mr. Carey Sampson possesses University of Technology Diploma in Construction
Management along with seven years construction experiences in Roads Building,
Water, Sewage, Drainage and other Civil Engineering works
WAYNE SMITH – Engineering Surveyor
Mr. Wayne Smith is an Engineering and Land Surveyor and is a graduate of the
Royal School of Military Engineering. He has in excess of 12 years of experience in
Civil Engineering works and Land Surveying.
ROY FERGUSON- B.Sc. – Quantity Surveyor
Mr. Ferguson prepares Bill of Quantities and creates the programs and work
schedules for proper contract administration: procurement of materials and He is
responsible for the measurements and costing to prepare interim and final
valuation certificates.
