Outline the major outcomes the study was conducted to deliver. The summary below should self-evidently demonstrate that these objectives were addressed by the study and that recommendations are consistent with the findings of the study.
Included: Delineate the scope of the study for the reader, e.g., “The project scope included developing architectural plans, cost estimates, and construction schedule for a new student center on the Pendleton Campus. Parking logistics during construction were also included in the scope and cost of the project.”
Excluded: Call attention to issues/areas declared out-of-scope for the project, e.g. “The project did not examine the possibility of locating a student center at any other campus location due to funding restrictions of local governments.”

Options Considered: List the different solutions evaluated in this study. If only one option was pursued, summarize it here.
Other Key Decisions: List other variables taken into account (especially for design phase studies) that an approver would want to know were addressed by the study, e.g. the study may have evaluated the impact that proposed legislation would have on energy efficiency requirements of a new building.
State the formal recommendation of the project team. It may be necessary to reference attachments, e.g. “Construct a
60,000 ft² student center per the attached project plan, specifications, and architectural drawings.”
Economic Benefits:
List benefit amounts broken out by source of benefit, e.g., cost reduction, student retention, auxiliary revenue improvement, etc.
Strategic Fit:
Describe how this project will advance the College toward our stated strategic goals.
Other Benefits:
These are general benefits for which there are not hard dollar economics such as improved safety, community image, etc.
Compliance Drivers:
Complete this section only if there are regulatory requirements that in whole or in part help justify the project. Be specific in citing regulations that the project is designed to satisfy.

Assumptions:
Outline key assumptions used to arrive at conclusions, e.g., enrollment projections, inflation factors, tuition rates, etc.
Constraints:
Identify constraints that influenced conclusions, e.g., “Building construction must be completed no later than 7/30/2014.”
Discuss any risk-related issues that must be taken into account in deciding to move forward with the project, e.g., “A new fitness center must be supervised by first-aid certified personnel.” or, “A new clinical program requires the College cover malpractice risk.”
List any key project documents—usually supporting calculations, drawings, quotes, etc.
