Directions: Watch any of the following films and write a report about them. The report should include
the following:
1. A brief (one paragraph) description of what took place in the film – a short summary.
2. Analysis of the film with regards to any of the following:
A. Historical Accuracy
B. Historical Importance
C. Cultural Implications of Events in the Film on the Culture The Film Portrays.
D. Cause and Effect
E. Change Over Time
F. Primary Sources Which Support or Contradict the Film
You may use any number of analysis types from the list above (A-F).
Here are the films that you may see that are approved for extra credit. They are rated G to R, so be aware
of the film rating and what your parents say about them.
