Thank you for your enquiry regarding the use of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC) logo, image
or video footage to support your fundraising. Usage permissions are normally granted for promotional
purposes to demonstrate your support or partnership with the Charity.
The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity logo is a copyrighted brand image and registered trademark and
therefore to use the logo you will need to enter into a formal agreement with MAAC each time the logo and
any other provided images or footage is used.
Should you wish to use the MAAC logo or provided images for future use beyond the specified timing of
your event or activity, you will need to contact us again to update this agreement.
Should you wish to use the MAAC logo, images or video footage provided by the charity to be included in
your own literature or promotional campaign for fundraising purposes, you must gain approval by the
charity retains all rights before any materials are produced.
Please complete and sign the attached permission form clearly explaining how you wish to use the logo, for
what purposes, specifying how and where you intend to use the publicity material for this project and if
relevant the method of fundraising. Once we have received this signed copy, we will email the materials
you require in your requested format within 7 days.
In order that our records are complete, can you please provide us with the final version of any material
produced.

Brand guidelines:
The logo consists of the charity name. The logo type and the name must be used together and never
modified in any way. Original artwork must always be used to reproduce the logo. The original files in JPEG
and EPS can be obtained from the communications department. You should never attempt to create your
own version of the logo. Minimum Size: To ensure clear definition, the logo should not be reproduced
smaller than 3cm across its full width. Preferred logo placement: The preferred version of the logo is in
colour on a white background. The logo should not be: scaled out of proportion, the logo element should
not be used in isolation and the colour of the logo should not be changed. In addition, there should always
be sufficient contrast between the logo and the background. The logo can only be used along side the
charity’s registration number.

H. Please note, you are not permitted to use the MAAC logo for reproduction purposes for the resale of goods (e.g.
clothing and merchandise etc.). The logo cannot be used in corporate letterhead or invoicing without specific
permissions granted by MAAC in addition to this form. Please also understand that the MAAC logo and images
cannot be altered for use.
