International students must pass ALL the requirements of second year BEFORE they can progress to the year abroad. J. E. Cairnes School of Business & Economics Progression to Final Year: Passing by Compensation The Pass standard is 40% in each subject. However the year may be passed by compensation provided: - The aggregate mark for all modules of the year is at least 40% - No mark is below 35% - Not more than 15 ECTS have marks in range 35 – 39% Note: Where one or more of these conditions have not been met, each module with a mark below 40% must be repeated.
