All That Jazz, A Roaring 20's Gala wishes to thank some of our generous corporate sponsors...
Auction Manpower - Attn: Auction Workers - All That Jazz Roaring 20’s Gala is only 12
days away. Many of you have already completed your responsibility. For others, your job is just
starting. Please click here for the list of volunteers. The Auction Committee would like to thank
everyone for their ongoing commitment to Ss. Peter and Paul School. As you may know, the
Auction is the major fundraiser of the year for our school. Without dedicated volunteers like
you, the Auction would not be possible.
By now, everyone should have been contacted by a committee chair with their job description
and time slot. If not, please contact me immediately. During transport on Friday as well as the
night of the Auction, each worker needs to check in the Manpower Room. The worker will sign
in under their name and receive a name tag. The name tag will have the family last name,
committee and shift time. Once the shift is complete, the worker goes back to the Manpower
Room to sign out and return their name tag. Any worker who does not fulfill their commitment
will have their name turned in to the Home and School Association and be assessed a $250
fundraising fee.
If you have a conflict with your scheduled time, please try to switch with another volunteer and
contact me with the change. All worker changes need to be emailed to me by March 1st. If you
should have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
Again, Ss. Peter and Paul School is fortunate to have so many dedicated parents who are willing
to pitch in and help. We truly thank you for your big part in making this year’s Auction a huge
success.
Sincerely,
Shelly Jaros, Manpower Chair jarosfam@sbcglobal.net
Only a Few Days left before Ss. Peter and Paul will have the
opportunity to bring Detective Rich Wistocki to talk with parents! Tuesday, March 6th 2012 at
7:00 P.M. Detective Wistocki will be talking about cell phone and internet safety. He will cover
all aspects of, what to look out for and what the signs are to know about with cell phone and
internet usage. In our changing world of technology it is extremely important for parents to keep
up with the verbiage our students are using and what goes on their cell phones and internet sites
(Facebook, Twitter and Skype). Click here for more information. Let us know if you plan to
attend by clicking here!
Jet's Pizza Fundraiser Night - March 6th
As CFO of your family’s finances, some decisions are easier than others. When Blessings pays
you back 2% to 7% and a credit card pays 1% to 2%, which is the smarter choice? Of course
that’s just the half of it, shopping with Blessings dollars helps the SSPP Home and School
Association too, they earn almost as much back as you.

Orders can be placed through this website at any time, but will need to be completed by 7:00 am
on Monday mornings. The amount on this receipt is the amount your check should be written for.
Payment can be made with PrestoPay or a check written out to Blessings. Send your check or
receipt back to your child’s classroom on Monday morning using the red bag. Orders will be
forwarded to the Blessings office for further processing. On Thursday we will return your red

for the week, keep your bag for when you do.
This is week eight of our Blessings contest! Every time you place a Blessings order you’ll be
given a raffle ticket. At the end of the month the owner of the winning raffle ticket gets a $100
dollar Naperville Gift Card.

Attn: 4-7th Grade Boys - Ss.Peter & Paul Trojan Football - Believe it or not - Trojan
Football is right around the corner and we are all excited to continue our proud tradition in
2012. It seems like just yesterday, when both our Junior Varsity (5th & 6th) & Varsity (7th &
8th) teams were hoisting their respective SPFL Championship Trophies, which made it the first
time in school history that both teams won it all in the same season. This also marked the 3rd
consecutive championship for the JV and the first ever for the Varsity.
Our first step in defending our titles will be our Annual Spring Football Meeting. We will be
introducing our coaching staffs, going over important dates and finally we will have a guest
speaker - Dr. Elizabeth Pieroth, PSYD - a board certified neuropsychologist — who has been
involved in the assessment of players in the National Hockey League since 1997 and is the Head
Injury/Concussion consultant to the Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago White Sox,
Chicago Fire and Northwestern University athletics as well as youth and high school athletes.

First Holy Communion 2012 for information about the day.
The school communicants will have their Mass on Saturday May 5, 2012 at 2:00PM in the
afternoon. We will have the rehearsal on Friday May 4 during the school day. If you wish to
attend, you are more than welcome at the rehearsal. If you have religious articles that you want
blessed bring them with you to the rehearsal and I will be happy to bless them following the
rehearsal.
Due to many issues with the DVD last year, including slow delivery, I have contracted the
services of a new company to record the FHC masses on DVD. I will have more information for
you at the parent meetings, but I am confident that this company will provide an excellent DVD
and will deliver them on a timely basis. Deacon Ron Brown
