project EIA, prepared by others, with the intention of identifying gaps and updating the assessment in terms of specified
deviations from the original engineering design and technologies.
 Pequiven Jose Sur Petrochemical Project, Anzoátegui State, Venezuela. ESIA Review, Project Manager – This project
was undertaken to review the ESIA prepared for the proponent and determine whether it achieved the requirements set
out in the IFC’s Policy and Performance Standards on Social & Environmental Sustainability (April, 2006).
 Egyptian Refinery Company, Cairo, Egypt. SIA Review and Preparation of SMP. This gap analysis to IFC standards led
to delivery of a comprehensive SMP including construction and operational action plans.
