Google Earth lets you fly anywhere on Earth to view:
satellite imagery
Maps and terrain
3D buildings
galaxies in outer space to the canyons of the ocean
Navigate around the 3D globe by using the navigation
controls along the right side of the screen using the
mouse or keyboard commands.
Rotate
• Click Zoom In and Zoom Out
buttons to zoom into or out of map
• Click and drag the Look control to
move around from a single vantage
point.
• Drag the Rotate control to rotate the
view. (Rotate clockwise moves north
to the right; rotate counterclockwise to
move the north to the left)
• Double-click the North button(N at
the top) to return north to the upright
position.
•Click and drag the move control to
move the position from one point to
another.

To search for places, enter the search term(s) in the Search panel and click . You
can search by address, business name, coordinates, keyword(s) and locale name.
To view content created by users in your search results, scroll to the bottom of the
Places panel and click Community Maps. These maps appear as blue markers:
Click Fly To. Enter the address in the input box and click
the Search button.
In the search results, double click the address. Google Earth
flies you to this address.
• Use placemark to mark any
location on the planet.
• Go to the marked location at any
time by double clicking the
placemark located in the Places
panel.
• You can edit, move, share or delete
any placemark.
• Start by clicking the placemark
button in the toolbar.
You can share place information with others. There are several ways to
do this:
Email a Google Earth image
Filee-mail
Save a placemark as a file
FileSave Place as
Share a placemark via email
Filee-mail placemark
Share via the Google Earth Community

To view relevant points of interest, in the Layers panel,
check Ocean.

- Turn on by clicking the 3D Buildings
layer.
Click daylight button to display
daylight.
Use the time slider to watch the
sunrise and sunset from
anywhere.
Move the time slider to watch
dusk, dawn and shadows move
across the Earth.
To explore the moon, select Moon
from the top toolbar .
or click View > Explore > Moon.
click the Historical Imagery button
Move the slider to see imagery of the past
in the toolbar.
Download
