Secondary Instructional Coaches – The REFLECT and ACT of the CARA Cycle (6 hours) Are you feeling as if your groups have no buy-in during your reflective conversations? Are you finding that your data is the same every cycle? Are group actions shallow and nonproductive? Come join other ICs in the district to learn how you can bring meaning to your reflective conversations. Learn how the actions of your groups can be the beginning of real coaching that you want to do with individual teachers. This session is reserved for secondary instructional coaches who have completed the Dana Center Instructional Coaching training. HS Mathematics – Using Formative Assessment to Curb Retesting (3 hours) There’s no better way to keep your numbers low in the retesting room than to take care of student misunderstandings in class before they leave your room. Learn ways that you can assess where students are every day so that you can address their needs and prevent them from having to retest after major assignments. HS Mathematics – How do I use AWARE and AUTOSCORE to drive my instruction? (3 hours) Learn how to use a variety of reports in AWARE and AUTOSCORE to help you analyze CBAs, find trends in your own data, and identify strengths and weaknesses in your instruction.
