Each group will be presenting their understanding of the power point shared by the teacher or designated assigned chapter. You
can use the slides as is or you can edit and adjust each slide. Pictures need to be added to slides that require a visual example to
understand the designated concept. If a slide asks a question then you can either answer it on another slide or answer it verbally
during the presentation.

Logistics:
Email the power point the day before the presentation. If you plan to use your own lap top and you have a MAC you will need an
adaptor. You may do a practice run through days before to make sure all equipment and videos are working properly.

Always prepare for Plan B by having copies of the power point for students. You can condense slides onto three
slides with notes per page for students to take notes while you present. You can offer your power point to print out
from the teacher webpage for them to print out.
Consider bringing some incentive for your audience to listen to your presentation.
Everyone in the group should have an ASB drive with a copy of the power point. JUST IN CASE they are absent or
due to an emergency can not attend the presentation.
Have a paper copy of the power point as a back up.
If dress apparel is not enforced always side on the error of caution by wearing professional attire for any college level
presentation.
Consider purchasing a Power Point clicker that allows you to click from a distance.
You may use your phones as flash cards and paper flash cards. (DO NOT READ FROM THEM) They are called
FLASH cards for a reason and the purpose is a quick glance. An optimal presentation is a presenter that has all the
information stored in their head and can easily access it seamlessly throughout the presentation.
Do not turn your back to the audience.
Make sure not to read off the power point slide.
Use body language that is appropriate and professional.
Use the most academic formal language you can use (Do not use slang unless explaining the use of it from the chapter)
