you master the material – must be completed prior to
taking weekly quiz
 Test yourself with other questions (Prepping for the
Exam Questions have answers in back of book)
 Philosophy - this course is basic intuition but with
a new language…
Homework and Quizzes
 Your homework is assigned each week in
MyFinanceLab
 There will be a set of problems directly from the book
and you get three attempts at each problem.
 Once you have completed that week’s homework
assignment you can then take the weekly quiz.
 The weekly quiz is designed to make sure you
understand the chapter material covered that week.
 It is a ninety minute (maximum time) quiz.
 The quiz must be completed by each Sunday evening.
Recitation Sessions
 Every Friday – 50 minutes
 Mandatory this Friday 1-8-10 and after exam #1
 This is optional but can help with your point total
for the homework assignments.
 You will be “rewarded” up to the 10 points for the
homework for that week by attending recitation
 Example, you only scored 6 points on the homework,
attending class will net you 4 points for a total of 10.
 Recitation Instructor will go over problems
 This will help you prior to taking the quiz to clear up any
misconceptions from the material for the week.
