CHARLES UNIVERSITY
•Over 42,400 students study at Charles University (approximately one fifth of all
the students in the Czech Republic) in more than 270 accredited academic
programs.
•7,200 students are studying for bachelor degrees
•29,000 students are studying for master degrees
•6,200 students are in Ph.D. programs.
•There are more than 4,300 international students, 950 of which study in English
language academic programs.

FIRST FACULTY OF MEDICINE
• One of the original four faculties of Charles University, established in
1348.
• First Faculty of Medicine with almost 1 200 staff members and 3 400
students represents the largest medical faculty in the Czech
Republic.
• Provides undergraduate, graduate and professional programs of
the highest academic quality, taught either in Czech or English.

WHAT DO WE OFFER
•Master study programs of General Medicine and Dentistry completely taught in
English
•Curriculum leading to the Master degree MUDr. - "Medicinae Universae Doctor"
(M.D.) and MDDr. - "Medicinae Dentium Doctor" = Doctor of Dental Medicine
•Degrees are fully recognized in the EU and most countries of the world, also
recognized in UK and US (GM)
•140 places for General Medicine and 20 places for Dentistry

GENERAL MEDICINE
• 6 year program (1-3 pre-clinical years, 4-6 clinical years)
• Multiple-choice entrance exam from Chemistry, Biology and Physics (or Math)
compulsory
• Tuition fee 330 000 CZK per year (not covering living costs)
• Compulsory subject Czech language from 1st till 3rd year
• Leading to the Master degree MUDr. - "Medicinae Universae Doctor"

DENTISTRY
•5 year program (1-3 pre-clinical years, 4-5 clinical years)
•Multiple-choice entrance exam from Chemistry, Biology and Physics (or Math)
compulsory
•Tuition fee 360 000 CZK per year (not covering living costs)
•Compulsory subject Czech language from 1st till 3rd year
• Leading to the Master degree MDDr. - "Medicinae Dentium Doctor" = Doctor of
Dental Medicine

Click on button “Admission”
Click on button “Create new application”
Fill your personal e-mail
Go to your email and copy the password you will find to Faculty website
Initiate password
You will fill data Citizenship, date of birth and sex
After you will choose Type and form of study as full-time Master’s
After it you will fill Study Field: you will choose
General Medicine or Dentistry
Then create application form, you will have to fill all compulsory fields
You will save application and get the PDF, which you will send
to mentioned e-mail.

You will pay 20 EUR in cash at the day of the test during
your registration in Prague (do not pay the
representative)
You will know the results of your test on the same day
On passing the test successfully, there will be a short
informal interview with vice-dean
There is no negative marking

All 1st year students will be guaranteed a place of stay in university dormitories
