Terms & Conditions

1 Arrival and Departure

1.1 Apartments are available from 3pm local time on the day of arrival and check–outs by 12pm on day of departure. All additional hours will be charged as one day unless otherwise agreed.

1.2 For check-ins required before 3pm local time, 24 hours prior notice in writing will be required at a charge of GHc50. Booking and paying for the apartment is only subject to availability and not guaranteed.

2 Booking

2.1 Any booking made will only come into existence when payment has been made in full and your confirmation has been dispatched by management.

2.2 All guest names, address and contact telephone numbers are required at the time of booking, whether adults or minors (12 years & above).

2.3 As soon as confirmation and invoice are received, guests are required to carefully cross-check all details. In event of any inaccuracy, management should be informed immediately. Regrettably however, management cannot accept any liability if it is not notified of any inaccuracy in the documentation.

3 Pricing

Unless otherwise stated, the rates are per apartment/per night. Rates advertised are to the best of management’s knowledge correct at the date of publication but LeSuites reserves the right to change any rate from time to time. Prior to the booking being confirmed, rates quoted are based on the rates prevailing at the time but are subject to change. Once booking has been confirmed, the quoted rate will remain the same unless the client amends the booking or LeSuites’ cost of supplying the accommodation changes as a result of tax changes or currency fluctuations beyond its control.

4 Payment

4.1 LeSuites accepts the following methods of payment: Cash, Transfer:

Bank details available on request, PayPal (Credit/Debit card, Visa, Switch,

American Express, MasterCard).

4.2 A charge of 3% fee will be added for credit card and 3.5% fee for

American Express payments. No charge is made for any debit card

payments.

4.3 Unless otherwise agreed, no accommodation will be provided at checkin unless funds have been cleared. LeSuites requires a credit/debit card number for security purposes and for any additional charges that may be incurred.

4.4 Payment in full is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed. If payment has not been received at the agreed time, LeSuites reserves the right to suspend or cancel any booking made. Any late payments will result in interest being charged at 4% of the room rate per night.

4.5 “Additional charges” includes breakages, damages, extra cleaning and further accommodation charges incurred during your stay.

4.6 These charges will be deducted from any Security Deposit held or from a debit/credit card supplied and any balance on the security deposit will be refunded. A written statement of the “additional charges” will be sent to the guest. In the event that payment under a debit/credit card is declined, or no card details are provided, LeSuites reserves the right to invoice the booker or guest direct for these charges.

4.7 Please note that at check-in, guests are required to pay a refundable security deposit to cover any incidental breakages or damages that may occur during the guest’s stay.

Charges:

One-bedroom apartment – GHc500

Two-bedroom apartment – GHc800

5 Extension and Cancellation Policy

5.1 All cancellations must be confirmed in writing/email.

5.2 Bookings of less than 1 week require 48 hours’ notice.

5.3 Bookings of over 1 week require 1 weeks’ notice. The cancellation policy for corporate guests may differ but must be agreed in writing.

5.4 Bookings for 3 months or more require 14 days’ notice.

5.5 Any extensions must be made via LeSuites’ reception and confirmed via email. Where bookings are made with the option to extend, clients should notify management via sales@lesuites.com

, of any extension dates a minimum of 7 days prior to original departure date.

5.6 If a guest wishes to extend their stay, as much as possible, adequate notice should be given in order to facilitate the request. All extensions are subject to apartment’s availability and rate change.

5.7 Where notice to extend a stay has been given, LeSuites reserves the right to take all additional payments and charges from any credit/debit card used to originally secure the booking, or an invoice for the extended period will be sent via email and due payment made accordingly.

5.8 Cancellation charges relate to the date prior to arrival following that management has been notified of the cancellation. Cancellation charges are incurred in accordance with the scale below. These notice periods also apply to early departure, postponed arrival or reduction in the number of minimum nights’ stay. For group bookings, the minimum notice period and the cancellation charge per apartment, regardless of length of stay, is the same as stays of 28+ nights (see below).

6 Special Requests

In the event that a guest has any special requests, such requests should be made known at the time of booking. As far practicable as possible, due arrangements will be made to comply with any such special requests.

However, LeSuites cannot guarantee any request will be met and as such, failure to meet any special requests will not be a breach of contract.

7 Disability/Medical Problems

If a guest or any member of a guest’s party has any medical problem or disability which may affect their stay, such information should be disclosed at the time of booking. Should management feel reasonably unable to properly accommodate the particular needs of the person concerned,

LeSuites reserves the right to decline the reservation or, if full details are not given at the time of booking, cancel the reservation when such information is made known.

8 Occupancy

The apartment is to be occupied only by the person detailed on the booking form. LeSuites reserves the right to charge an additional fee or ask an entire party to vacate the premises if it is found that there are persons occupying the apartment who are not authorized to do so. In addition,

under these circumstances, LeSuites reserves the right to retain the security deposit and there will be no refund for unused days.

9 Apartment Use & Safety

Guest safety and security are a priority. Thus, this policy is designed to ensure that a guest’s stay is as comfortable as possible. Failure to comply with the terms of this policy may be considered a breach of contract and the guest being asked to leave.

9.1 All accessible windows and doors at the guest’s apartment should be securely shut when the guest is away from the property.

9.2 It is the guest’s responsibility to insure all personal belongings that are brought onto the property to their full market replacement value and keep any valuable possessions and ID safe.

9.3 Guests should not, nor permit anyone except authorised maintenance staff, to interfere with any electrics, plumbing, fixtures and fittings at the apartment.

9.4 Smoking is not allowed in the apartments or in any part of the building.

The policy covers the burning/smoking of any substances in our apartments, including incense.

9.5 Pets are not allowed in the apartments.

9.6 It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that all electrical/gas appliances are turned off when they are not in use.

9.7 It is the guest’s responsibility to keep the property tidy and free of hazardous objects at all times and to not leave it in a condition that would make it unsafe for LeSuites’ staffs, other guests or themselves.

9.8 Guests should ensure that they and their visitors are familiar with the fire escape routes in the building they are occupying. Fire doors and fire exits must be kept clear of obstructions at all times. On discovering a fire or on hearing the fire alarm, guests should call the fire service by dialling 192 and evacuate the building by the nearest fire escape. Guests should then await further instruction from the Fire Officer in control of the emergency. Do not attempt to re-enter the building until told to do so.

10 Keys

10.1 Unless otherwise agreed, LeSuites will issue to a guest one key as per arrangement. Guests are required to return keys immediately upon

checking out of the property.

10.2 If at any time a guest loses their key(s), front desk must be notified immediately, and a replacement will be charged at a minimum of GHc10 per key.

11 Car Parking

11.1 Guests should use the designated car parking space in the property car park and avoid blocking any main entrances or exits.

11.2 LeSuites accepts no liability whatsoever for any damage, theft, vandalism or any other act of any third party which may cause loss or damage to a vehicle during a guest’s stay at LeSuites.

11.3 There is a restriction of No Parking of vans & commercial vehicles unless otherwise agreed.

12 Maintenance

Maintenance personnel and other contractors reserve the right to enter the apartments for ongoing maintenance and safety checks without giving prior notice.

13 Insurance and Liability

LeSuites cannot be held responsible in any way for any loss of or damage to, contents, furniture, fittings or any other personal belongings at the apartment locations. Nor can LeSuites be held liable for acts or defaults caused by third parties. Guests are advised to ensure their own insurance policies cover loss or damage to personal property during their stay. Guests are also advised to take out adequate travel and personal insurance.
