Cold War Crossword Puzzle
This assignment is worth 30 points. It is due on Monday, January, 28th.
Instructions:
1. You are going to create a crossword puzzle of terms related to the Cold War.
You will make the puzzle on the grid that I give you.
2. You may use any spaces you like.
3. You must use all the words in the list below. A puzzle that contains all of the
words listed below, and only those words, will receive a grade of 22/30.
4. You may add any words you like to fill in more of the puzzle and to improve
your grade.
a. You will get ½ point for any additional word that we have studied in
American History class this year.
b. You will get 1/8 of a point for any word at all (you could use “cat”
“dog” “umbrella,” etc.
c. Maximum score is 33/30.
5. You must write a clue for each word in the puzzle. Write your clues on a
separate sheet of paper.
6. Everyone's puzzle must be different to get credit.
7. YOU MAY NOT USE A COMPUTER CROSSWORD PUZZLE TO MAKE
YOUR PUZZLE.
8. We will have a vocabulary quiz next week on the words with asterisks by
them.
