Changes in School Pickup After reviewing our pick up situation, the teachers have decided to make some changes to the after school pickup. Minimum day; dismissal at 12:30 11/11 Holiday; Veteran’s Day Veteran’s Day Assembly This is a very special assembly. Families may invite family members or friends that are veterans or are currently serving our country. We will be singing patriotic songs along with special song presentations by some of the classes. Please send your child in patriotic clothes or patriotic colors. Science Project Tricia is interested in doing another science project with the classes this Friday. This time it will be making erupting volcanoes. In order to do this we would like to know if there are any parents who would be interested in making clay and or donating any of the items towards this project. I will send an attachment of a recipe you can use or you can use one of your own. Please e-mail me if you are interested and I will forward the information to Tricia. Jamba Juice Jamba Juice is Thursdays at the 1:25 recess for our class. Prices are $2.00 or $4.00. Please send your child’s money in an envelope or sandwich baggy with their name and their teacher’s name. Scholastic book Orders In your child’s folder today, you will find a letter that explains how you can order books on-line along with a code for our classroom that helps the classroom earn free books. The book order forms are due today but you can still place an order on-line after the due date. Auction Project A special thank you to Stephanie Rasheed and Lily Vandyke who organized and volunteered to do our classroom project. They are putting the finishing touches on it and it will be ready for the auction dinner on Saturday. Thank you to those parents who have donated tools to place in the tool box. If you would still like to donate towards the box, please send the item that was listed on the sheet that was sent home a couple weeks ago. We assigned tools so we would not receive duplicates. If you are unable, please no worries.
